  1. I'm in NY and did not need 6 months of weigh ins. It's more down to insurance rules than state rules.
  2. My NUT is totally against low carbing. She advocates making wise carb choices- but that's it.

  4. Oh and my info session was mid-November, my surgery was feb 6th. Less than 3 months from start to finish.
  5. #1,2,3,4,5 and 6 should be calls to your insurance company. Check, double check, recheck, check one more time, confirm, then confirm the confirmation. Do nothing else until you've done that!
  6. Only my husband and doctors know! I started a really intense workout and dieting routine before surgery and just told everyone I had ulcer/hernia repair.
  7. I thought I was going to be painfully slow- but I've almost lost 30lbs at the 3 week mark.
  8. Also the only time I close a credit card is if it has any sort of monthly or annual fees attached. I've had a lane Bryant credit line open for years and I don't even have the cards anymore (long since shredded).
  9. I see addictions as behaviors that are destructive- it does not sound to me like you are being financially destructive- you are paying off everything you buy immediately. If you were amassing debt by taking out loans and lines of credit- then I would be worried!
  10. If you can do without them this long you may as well keep on keepin' on.
  11. Whoa. This thread got weird in a hurry.
  12. This early out I think they're more interested in us getting some sort of nutrition in and the carb count just isn't as important when you can't even eat a full cup of food per day.
  13. I wouldn't fry with it at all! It will start smoking like crazy. It's more like a spread- you'd put it on your toast or something.
  14. Posting details here would be inappropriate *winkwink*
  15. My iPhone. I have both music AND the kindle app.
  16. I've been using it for years as baby lotion, diaper rash cream, and lip balm!
  17. On my last hospital stay it was found during an endoscopy that I had SEVERE erosion in my new sleeve. The Sucralfate basically turns to paste when it hits stomach acid and adheres to the lining of the stomach to promote healing. It has made SUCH a difference in just a few days.
  18. Liquids in = liquids out!
  19. I'm on 20mg of Prilosec in the morning and bedtime. On top of that I take Sucralfate 4x daily and it has pretty much preserved my sanity. It's a miracle medicine!
  20. As much and as desperately as you want to get pregnant- I can not encourage you enough to wait. Your body had undergone a MAJOR surgery and it really needs the time to adjust to all of those changes. Wait the extra 6 months. In the grand scheme of things it will go by super fast and you will maximize your chances for the most healthy pregnancy possible.
  21. I adore cardio kickboxing!
  22. I believe that my surgeon likes to try to avoid crossover addictions, which is why alcohol is such a no/no under his program.
  23. Food Network is my porn! I've got it playing now!
