  1. I am on a pump have been for a year and have gained 50 pounds now 4 months into band process hoping to get rid of meds.I didn't know about weight gain before starting pump
  2. I too have cigna and low bmi so I can't lose weight only in my 2nd month
  3. I am 56 type II diabetic on an insulin pump bmi of 34 my pcp said she wouldn't support lap band decision because of complications and you've lost weight in the past so what's the big deal. So now have to go in and try to explain hard for someone without issues to understand. Plus I'm what they consider borderline so it's not that important.
  4. Thanks I had blood work for my o'clock this morning and was supposed to have appointment on Thursday but they called today to say they had to reschedule til march or april not happy trying to get in before i'm sick of being on a pump better than shots but not much

  6. Went to the introduction to lap band filled out papers to go forward and was told the committee decided that my insurance would not cover. I am type II diabetic with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and arthritis. I am 56 with a BMI of 33.Where do I go now can I get insurance to cover.I don't think they even called them
