  1. Do what you know you can, and give it a few days. Don't push it to the point of doing too much...maybe a timer would help?
  2. I was riding my bike very shortly after my surgery. The only thing I can caution about is to really take into account what a serious spill could do to your tummy.
  3. OMG I have to get out my ice creammaker now!!! lol.
  4. LOL! I do that too!
  5. Lol - i did have one - but it wasn't cancerous, thank god!
  6. I married my Hubby almost 10 years ago. I had met him at a size 16 or so, and was almost a size 30 when we married. He never gave up, always loved me... I remember wishing I could be a size 16 again when we were celebrating our Honeymoon. I will be at most a size 16 when our anniversary rolls around this year It is a very good moment when we realize we can be what we wanted to be for our loved ones. Yayyy for you!!!!
  7. Go to MyFitnessPal and sign up - I suggest you do, anyway. Keep track of everything you eat, and make sure you understand te size of your portions. Make sure you are getting in a Multivitamin everyday. get in your fluids! The point of keeping track of your calories is to be sure you are getting ENOUGH. Different than we are used to. Aim for at least 800, in my opinion. And be patient... I have said it before but go buy a tight fitting tshirt so you can "feel" it getting lose over the next several weeks. Many lose inches while stallin gon the lbs!
  8. This is great news! yayyy! you are so very almost there! It's maddening, isnt it? lol.
  9. Getting psyched up and ready give away more clothes, and recognize myself in the mirror a little bit less, lol. I crossed the border to Onderland on April 24th, and I have denounced my citizenship in Fattsville. Now what??? If you go from January of 2011 to now, I have lost 83 lbs. I was sleeved 1/4/12 and most of the weight was after the surgery, but I cound January 2011 since it was the highest I had been in awhile, and I started my last "diet" at that time - even if I did not know I had started the big final ball rolling at the time. Soooo now what? I think my next goal will be to see if I can get to the 100 lbs lost mark. That would be 17 lbs from now, but it seems a reasonable goal. I have issues with my metabolism (I stall just thinking about a diet) so my weight loss has been a bit slow, but I have an enormous sense of calm after the surgery, because I know I can wait the stalls out now. I will win, not my appetite. I don't know when I will hit it, but 17 lbs in 3-4 months will be great. If I could clear it by the time my Hubby returns from Israel (he will be traveling for work for awhile very soon) that would be interesting to see what he thinks 17 lbs more does to my appearance. Wish me luck!
  10. I love water aerobics but unfortunately cannot seem to find anywhere at all that I can get to a class on my schedule
  11. That news made my whole morning! Good for you! It is so nice to be able to see people doing what I hope to do, and in turn the people after me, and so forth. What a blessed place we have here! Keep it up, or off, I guess I should say!
  12. I had a NSV like this and it was awesome! Mine were old-school converse japanese knee highs...laced them very close together! It feels sooooo good to be able to do things like that! yay for you, for all of us!
  13. I hope it isnt like real rabbit pellets - my rabbit eat their poo!
  14. Try drinking some juice too - real juice, like orange or grape - just 2-3 oz is plenty. You may need to restore some minerals and such.
  15. If the hospital did nothing, and your doc diagnosed you witout seeing you also, you may need to go get a second opinion - just dont wait till you have to go to the ER, and incur a ridiculous bill. Go to a regular doctor, ask for a white blood cell count, and xray. You need to be sure it is a blockage due to foods and not a twist or impaction that is showing serious problems.
  16. I will be doing it, some sooner than the rest - but I eventually plan to have all the saggy sking tightened - and most importantly the skin folds and such removed. I am considering a "first wave" that would remove the apron and extra around the bra line, so I can exercize better. I don't want to be an old woman trying to maintain my (ugh) apron. I look at it as a little bit of vanity maybe, but a whole lot of extra, potentially sweaty - LOUD (lol) skin - get it gone, gone gone!!!!
  17. Give Mootopia a try. it is a supplemented milk. half sugars, lactiose free and 12 g protien for 8 oz...add that to unjury unflavored and it is great, and 32 g protien.
  18. I would avoid 3-4 oz at a time for awhile...you can slowly irritate your tummy and start feeling it later. There are alot of protien drinks that are not chalky...give several kinds a try. Lean shake (I think its called that) has a truly awesome strawberry and you can get it out of the cooler in pre-mixed bottles at GMC.
  19. Dont forget to love your skin! Long milkbaths and glycerin and compression garments to help "hold it all in place" wil help too.
  20. PS - go buy a tshirt that is too tight - really clingy - all over and keep it for when you need reassurance you are loosing. It is as good as any tape measurer! lol.
  21. Too much! Buy as necessity proves a need - and be sure you really need it. Don't be afraid to but samples and such, rather than big tubs of protien powder - especially if you start to show a trend of tiring of a drink quickly. Switch it up too! Good luck!
  22. I am having pain that seems to sit below my tummy. It is central and forward (maybe on the forward). It is at a point that I feel it most when I am sitting upright at work, and the longer I go (sometimes) the more it seems to hurt...it is being accompanied by nausea but not alot of throwing up. I have been keeping a spanky on during the day to keep me from jiggling as bad when I am running around the warehouse...but it isnt exceptionally tight. I am not trying to shape, just hold in. It seems to be relieved when I can get off my feet and stretch out, or have a more substantial BM (sorry TMI I knowwww). What could this be? Anyone else with similar symptoms care to relate what it turned out to be? It is seriously beginning to affect my day. I have been at work today and between fidgeting and trying to be even somewhat comfortable, and in the bathroom feeling like I am going to throw up, I have got almost nothing done
