  4. Having the tail end of the 3rd week stall. I also threw out the HCTZ after surgery and thought also that I might be retaining. In my case I think I was just not getting enough Protein so I am working hard on that. I found that a stool softner help keep things going along smoother. Hopefully when I weigh in Saturday I will have lost something. It is frustrating. Hope things pick up for you!
  5. the coordinator for the surgeon you pick should be able to tell you the requirements of the insurance company, also my coordinator said that after the inital call i should let them handle everything so there was little chance of a first denial. Good Luck!

  9. Sleeved 12/19 Hardest thing is the head hunger, and wanting but not being able to eat things like pizza and cheeseurgers.(i know this is for the best) Have trouble getting Protein in but getting easier every week. I also have weird dreams that I can't get under 300 pounds and I am somewhat worried that I won't lose enough weight. It seems like alot of people have this fear. the best thing is the clothes getting smaller, and not being short of breath doing easy things. I am glad at the encouragent my friends, coworkers, and family are giving me, and of course the sleevers here. My hubby and I went on a hike in the woods today, and it's been so long since I could do that. The recovery feels complete to me, I am blessed with a great pain tolerance. Learning every day how to listen to my sleeve, and thankfully I am able to drink fluids with little difficulty. I have some hardness under my lap sites, but I am told this s normal, Congrats to all you losers! YOU are doing your sleeve proud!!!!!!

  17. the elevation in weight is from all the IV fluids they pumped into you It can take awhile for your body to reabsorb that, then you will see the weight melt off surgery date 12/19/11 HW 362 SW 344 CW 326

  21. i was sleeved on 12*19 too, someone on here mentioned when you get the cramping sit straight up, shoulders back, and stick your chest out. It works for me cramping lets right up.
  22. JAS, sorry to hear that you are haing a hard time I cried the first few days when ever it was time to take in liquids. it was tough to realize to realize there was going to be no more food comfort. It like a swift kick. Some advice I got here that helped with the cramping. Don't drink anything too cold, use gas X strips. sip sip sip walk walk walk. and if i flex and stick my chest out it does stop the cramping. sleeved 12-19-11 HW362 CW339
