I went through the infamous 3 week stall for a week but it seemed longer! I worked my booty off yesterday, stepped on that scale this morning and...hell yeah!! I broke that stall and I'm down 25 lbs since surgery 5/11!! My husband has been gone for training since before I had surgery and I'm so excited for him to see me 25 lbs lighter this Sat!!! Can't wait!!!

Thanks yall!! And yes, the point of wls is to aid in portion control BUT damn...5-10 bites and that's it?? Thanks for all the encouraging words of wisdom!! I'm here now so imma just take this process in and roll with it!! I do love to see the numbers on the scale go down and like a wise woman said...."this too shall pass".. : )

Ladylvy..yes!! I miss my big ol endless portions!!! And yes, that was the problem right there!! Going out to eat is so heavily tied to going out and being social so this will be a work in progress to see how to make it all work for me. My husband gets back next week and wanted to go to Red Lobster to celebrate. Maybe I'll get a baby plate and have him give me one piece of everything on his plate. Lol!!

Thank you, I'll be 4 weeks post op Friday. Ya, know..I do notice that I start getting little burps after a few bites....Maybe that's my sign. Lol!!

I'm seriously getting pissed off at how little I can eat!!! And I'm still trying to gage when I'm full. By The time im feelin it my food is up to my esophagus and it hurts like a biatch!!! What's the point of even going out to eat of I can only enjoy less than 10 bites?? My 1year old can eat more than me and that's a damn shame!!

It does sukk having to make such a dramatic change but you can do it. Just take it one day at a time. Get stuff from the store you can have. Make this a positive thing!! And make sure to sip all your drinks slowly until u can tolerate bigger sips. It does get better as time passes!!

I know for myself that I do drink before, during and after I eat. No problems here.

I have a public job and keep my water bottle right there by my side. You'll most likely be fine. And its (HOT) summer time, who will really say anything to you?...

I used the regular slim fast shakes u mix in a shaker bottle. They taste good and are high in protein. I went back to work a day after I got home and I never once pulled out my blender. I felt good enuff to get up and on with life. Everybody is different though. See how u feel afterwards.... Hope that helps!! : )

Hey, I noticed you said your not getting enough water in... Have u tried adding Mio and crystal lites to your waters? They are life savers and oh so good!!!

I had been stuck around 194-192 for like a week but thank goodness this am the scale said 189...finally broke outta the 190s!! I'm so motivated for our walk/jog today!

Hey, I'm glad u made it there safe and sound!! The dry wretching sukked but peppermint candy made mine stop. So happy you did somethin for yourself!!

I had mine done on the 11th of this month and even though u have to relearn how to drink and eat I'm happy I did it. The sleeve makes u more aware of what your putting in it and if its a no go...quite quickly!! Lol!! Good luck!!

Looks like I've hit a lil plateau as far as the scale goes but I'm seeing I'm definately losing inches so its all good!!

I was sleeved 5/11/12 in Mx. I had the most evil heartburn all the way from Mx and 2 flights, got some meds from my hcp the next day, heartburn is gone and I headed back to work the second day back home. Surprising myself and my family!! doin/feelin great!!
