  3. I know there are a lot of women on here but as a man I don't think pink would work for me...
  4. I only told the 3 people at work that would see me during lunch. The rest of the employees...about 20 on my shift don't need to know anything. I bought a couple small soup thermos jugs and put my soup in there hot. I think the broth stages were the worst part about this and now that I am eating normal food I feel so much better.
  5. I started my preop diet at 268 and today I am 245. I am definitely eating less and feeling satisfied. I am learning to slow down while I eat or it backs up and feels uncomfortable. I wish the weight would come off faster but maybe after a fill that will change.
  6. I don't know what they mean by green zone but I haven't got any saline in the band and I do definitely feel some restriction. Time well tell if I continue to lose weight.
  7. For me it feels kinda like when you are swallowing a large pill and it doesn't quite go all the way down. Not in stomach so much as in your chest. After I feel that I stop eating and 10 minutes later I am completely satisfied. I am a newbie but that's what I have noticed.

  9. The first week was hard but I only took 1 day off work. I was nauseated and dizzy for the first 3 days. After that it's been fine. I have a fill scheduled for Apr. 13th, Stick with it this is when a lot of people get sick of jumping through hoops.
  10. Was wondering if anyone on here was banded in Fridley Mn and had it done around the same time as me. So far my progress has been good but it would be nice to compare notes, thanks
  11. Sometimes the meds give the opposite effect...congrats on your surgery. I am 6 days post op and every day is a little better.
  12. That's awesome you are 3 days ahead of me
  13. I am glad for you...I have no pain just these damn nausea moments...I will try to work again tonight. What is the thickest thing you've tried to eat? I have had sf vanilla pudding with no problem. Helps the hunger pains for sure.
  14. Banded on the 15th....tried to work last night....I work overnights as a printer. Easy work so I thought I could do it. I had five episodes where I began salivating and feeling like I was going to vomit. I never did but I wish I knew what was causing this. Kinda feels like it is all in my head. I haven't been taking the liquid Vicodin because it hasn't been that painful...but maybe I should anyway...also I have been burping non stop even though all I have been eating is broth and jello and lots of water. Anyone else having this problem?
  15. I will give a few more days hoping that the drugs are causing this....thanks for the input
