  1. My port is at an angle... the fill took 4 tries. Hopefully the next one will be better.
  2. I have only had one fill and it was 2cc's. Don't feel any restriction. How many cc's before you feel it?
  3. I also had my first fill today... Really had a hard time with it. The doctor couldnt find my port so I had 3 numbing needles and 4 fill needles until they finally hit the target... My port is at an odd angle. They put in 2cc's and said I probably wouldn't really feel very much difference. Will have another fill after the holidays. Only problem is I am hungry all the time. I have lost 17 lbs in 4 weeks since the surgery, but it has been more from mind over matter because I have very little restriction. Don't really want another fill any time soon either though. Feelig a bit low so I am heading for bed. Tomorrow is a new day
  4. You look Fantastic! Congrats!!! Do you ever still feel big?

  7. I didn't realize that i would have to wait so long for my first fill... I am afraid of not losing for the next 6 weeks. I guess it is more of a mind thing right now??

  15. Shirley Taylor-Olson Hello, I am 8 days post-op and have lost 11 lbs so far. Feeling pretty good but I am some what emotional today. Feeling guilty about taking time off from work. I need to remember to relax and be kind to myself while I am healing. I have a long road ahead of me and I need to take this time for myself. I am getting lots of rest. Miss my babies
  16. I had mine done the same day. Sending prayers and positive healing thoughts your way! SJ
  17. Hi, My name is Shirley but I go by SJ. I am 7 days post op. I was banded on the 9th of November. I actually had Dr. Imlay for the surgery but he isn't on the list?? Dr. Perlman assisted as well as a surgeon from Allergan. I had a great team. It seems that I had a large hiatal hernia that had to be repaired before the band was placed. I have had some pain but nothing too drastic. The shoulder pain is the worst. I have lost 9 lbs since the surgery. I do get hungry but I haven't had a fill yet. My first post-op appt is the 23rd. I am happy and excited to be on this journey! Regards, SJ
