  1. There will always be people who will have something to say about your weight loss just take it with a grain of salt as long as you are happy that is all that matters. It is all about you and waht you think and feel not others
  2. I do body pump and yoga 2 days a week , free weights 3 days and step twice a week . I also enjoy biking and walking. I do what I enjoy and changeit up so I don't get bored
  3. I think you are doing great slow and steady wins the race. The weight didn't appear overnight and won't disappear over night Keep up the good work
  4. Do you mesure your food ? I was having the same problem and my Dr said to measure my food by volume not weight because I was eating too much and it was just sitting there and causing me to throw up all the time. I followed his advice and it seems to help I have not eaten bread since my lap band and the only Pasta I find I can sometimes eat is orzo

  7. It is usally pretty quick I had BCBS it was pretty fast but alot depends on Dr office and how quick they submit everything
  8. We all fall off the wagon once in a while. Don't let it get you down we all have those days and there will be more. Just mark it up to trial and error and move on. It does get better

  10. when you get full stop each person is different on the amt of liquid they consume each time. When I am on the liquids after my band adjustments I usually can only drink 4 to 6 oz at at tme
  11. I had my family doctor say that the other day. She wanted to know why I jsut didn't have te band taken out and I said why would I pay all that money and do that. I think she thinks its a mind thing with the band. I just ignored her
  12. Greek yogurt is also good it has a lot of protien. I jike the dannon and fage brand of greek yogurt
  13. I cannot eat beef but pork and chicken are fine but have to be moist some days not even those go down Yes I agree banded for life will be the learning curve forever. I got stuck eating a bannana and it was not good
  14. it takes time to fill restriction I got banded in August 2011 and still am not in green zone and have had 3 fillls. It's not going to happen overnight be patient
  15. change up your food and mix up the exercise to get over the plateau
  16. each person is different. I never had any nausa or trouble getting things down after surgery.

    Remember you did this for yourself I buy the calicum chews and they help for when I want candy its like taking your calicum and having candy too.
