I am being banded on March 9th am not being able to drink is something I am worried about. Are you ever able to drink after eating? Or is that just for first couple months? And do you get used to it? It just seems so difficult because I am always drinking something. I keep a drink with me at all times.
**being healthy
**not worrrying that every gas pain you have is a heart attack
**not worrying if you go to a restaurant if you will fit in the chair or not
**finding shoes that fit
**finding bras that fit
**more energy
**not sweating as much
**not getting out of breath going up a flight of stairs
**not worrying about being too fat to have kids
I am sure I will think of more
I'm new here..I viewed this site many times as a guest before registering.. everyone seems so helpful.. I don't have a surgery date yet but will be sometime earlly 2012 hopefully. The main thing I keep thinking about is this clear liquid diet..How bad is it? Any tips or good things I should get? Thanks
hello.. I am a first timer too.. I saw what you said about being affraid of surgery and I am also.. I have anxiety issues in general which have made the decision difficult, but I just want to tell you what everyone has been saying to me. You should be more afraid of being overweight than going through the surgery. It really makes you think ya know.. The long term health risks of being obese outweight the risks of complication with the band. I hope this helps you like it did me.
