  1. Hi! Where in California are you?
  2. Enjoyed my last sushi meal for a long while. Funny how much you love things when they to you can't have it. Bring on the liquids!
  3. Oh no. Hope your grandson is feeling better and def hope you don't get it. Stay well ????
  4. Purchased premiere protein shakes today at Costco. They are normally $ 23.99 but they are an additional $5 off until the end of the month.
  5. No Tylenol. Yes on ibuprofen. I'm miserable without being on it. Tylenol just doesn't help my joint pain at all.
  6. That's exactly what I'm hoping to do. Feeling nauseous is my worst fear. I get car sick and was extremely sick when I was pregnant with my daughter. It's a life log flaw and I'm trying to plan just in case. So many tricks to use from this site. So grateful.
  7. Don't forget Gax X strips. I hear its a life saver.
  8. Just picked my clear Isopure drink from GNC. I'm sure my husband is ready for this to over with. I have him going through every scenario that could possibly happen and buying supplies. 5 days from now I will be sleeved.
  9. I love Kaiser however I've tried for many years to qualify for WLS under my joint pain and severe back issues. Never could qualify until I finally hit 40 BMI. Now until this weight is gone, everything just hurts more.
  10. May 29th here @2pm in South Sac Kaiser. Best wishes to everyone. ❤️
  11. My surgery is at 2pm. Keep me posted on how surgery goes for you. 6 days seems like forever to get through. We can do this!
  12. I'm in the 29th too. I'm nervous of failing. I'm nervous for the pain and nauseous afterwards. I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best. Do you have a surgery time yet?
  13. Almost there. 7 more days. Hoping for no hiccups at home and I stay healthy until then. Fingers crossed. So looking forward to surgery.
  14. I'll hit up a different one another day for a pill crusher and a couple other items.
  15. These seem to be common things people talk about needing after surgery. Convenience items. The I ounce cups are good in the beginning for sipping small amounts. Baby spoons equal smaller bites. Ice trays are perfect for freezing puréed foods in small portions. Pills box because we have so many to take. Stool softener is self explanatory. Always great to have a back up thermometer and the reusable containers are a perfect size to plan out portions.
  16. Dollar Store deals. I got a good amount of supplies for post op. 1 ounce cups (aka shot glasses). Thermometer. Stool softener. Baby spoons and forks. Pill box. Ice trays. Reusable mini containers with lids 2.3 oz. Love a deal and checking off my list. Woo hoo
  17. I just switched to the same. My surgery is the 29th of may. Do you notice a difference between the XR and the 3x 100mg daily? This is one of my biggest concerns post surgery.
  18. Activia makes light Greek yogurt. Has anyone tried that for a probiotic?
  19. The Nut. said don't purchase to much of one thing before surgery as your tastes can change. I just purchased a 4 pk of the chocolate premier shakes for $8.49 at the grocery store. Vanilla was the other option and the Protein bars too. I'll try the small pack before I go purchase the case from Cosco. Hate to be stuck with so many if I don't like them.
  20. Thanks! I figured better to deal with a headache now and get it over with than to face it during post op. So many things to get done and shop for. I have all my vitamins. Now I need to get protein drinks and stage 2 supplies.
  21. 11 days to go. Yesterday was the first day cutting out caffeine. That makes it day #2 of a killer headache and extreme lethargy. Withdrawals from sugar and caffeine sucks.
