  1. I am having this procedure done ..Im actually doing the dreaded 6 month diet for BC/BS.. I am so excited and I think that this procedure is really a great choice. Goodluck and I would say go for it if you have the opportunity..
  2. thanx for the encouraging words Fran & Jennifer. i will speak with the techs and see cause honey they dont understand the phrase dont mess with the hair ( lmao)
  3. Jennifer how exactly did they put the probes on without you taking out your hair? in between the braids under the sew in cause i really dont wanna take mine down
  4. journey seeker i asked about doing the study the way you did and was told it was a great idea eventhough i couldn't do it. ..so sleep study it is!
  5. journey seeker i so understand!!!!
  6. Victoria...thanx girl but they felt down in my hair and said i would have to remove them. but since you mentioned anesthesia that is a good point! didn't think about that. again thanx for your support
  7. okay.... my doctor referred me for a sleep study because he said insurance would want him to. i have as you can see in my signature more than enough health issues for qualification but my doctor says it is a formality for insurance! what really burns me up is i have to take out my hair extensions which cost $$$ for something that's not necessary. they scheduled me to come in on the 21st...the same day i go for all my other appointments which is not bad but i have to be there trying to sleep in a strange place until 6:30 am... phew.. i feel a little better that's out can't talk to anyone else about this but my lapband family
  8. well as you can see in my signature i have enough health issues to be approved on the spot. i have bc/ bs and i am also required to do a 6 month diet so hang in there you are not alone..... I'm playing the run around game as well but it's better than paying out of pocket. Hey i figure i have dealt with these issues and weight this long really what is 6 more months. think positive and keep your head up. You will waste more time and energy trying to find away around the 6 MONTH diet than to go ahead and start it......GOOD LUCK
  9. I know the feeling because sometimes the people that have already been through this forgot the excitement that they felt in the beginning...but girl I am right there with ya!!!
  10. although i haven't been banded the doc told me that i would surely have an answer with 24 to 48 hours of him submitting the paper work and I'm really excited..now if these 5 months will just speed up..
  11. i know how you feel i was so excited for my first appointment because until then it didn't really seem real to me... i also have to do the 6 months well 5 now and the anticipation is really overwhelming. maybe we can keep in touch and track our journey together.. good luck and i wish you the best....
  12. CONGRADULATIONS!!!!! on your up coming procedure.. I wish you all the luck in the world and I can only the imagine the waiting now possibly seems like the clock has stoppped I wish you much success
  13. Well I have BC/BS of Alabama and although my paperwork has not been submitted because I have to do a 6 month diet, Dr. T said it would only take a couple of days and he would have me a surgery date!!! Now if I could just get through these 6 months of anticipation.
