I had IV & anesthia had me sleeping for 2 days but cause I was constantly interrupted with them tsing my vitals every 10 minutes; I was annoyed

It's been 10 weeks since my surgery and I am doing well. I do find myself wanting to eat the wrong things but I throw the thought out the window for now. I do realize if I take one bite too many oh boy I feel it. But I am so much more energetic and I love trying on new clothes. I am loving my sleeve.. I have added photos to my Gallery for anyone who wants to see the before and after. who would have thought 60 pounds would make such a difference. I love doing zumba and kick boxing classes and I am going to try fit boot camp.... Wish me luck... But I am trying to work this sleeve and not let it work me.. Good luck to all who is on the losing side as well as the ones going for their sleeve...

My health has changed so much. I am off my Diabetes meds along with my blood pressure meds. I have so much more energy and My husband has noticed a change in my attitude. So far I am really enjoying this life...

it was a Blockage of poop. (embarrassing) and when I bent over It moved lol. and they said the Light headedness and nausea was just coincidental. But I feel ok thank you guys. I was worried I popped the incisions. Breathing easier

I was sleeved on 01-30-2012. It took me along time to commit to this. Unlike some I am 34 married no children. I had four failed pregnancies. High blood pressure, diabetes, a half functioning heart and a list of other issues. I tried everything. They would work in the beginning and then they would stop working. I realized that my life was important to me and if I ever wanted to have children I needed to have a life altering change. This was my last result and I do not regret it. It is very hard and I was a little mad at myself after the surgery. But I do not regret my decision and I would say Research research and research. Everyone recovers and loses differetly but having your own knowledge and seeing different people experiences helps alot. I did a lot of research, even down to watching the videos on how the procedure is done. hopes this helps

Finally after all the rescheduling and seeing all these different specialist. I am officially cleared for surgery. Surgery date 01-25-2012... I am happy my Doc took all the right precautions,bit i'm glad it's over and my Sleeve journey can start. started my Journey sept 2011 by Nov I was cleared by insurance did my work up and all test I was sent for. Pre op xray showed a large heart so surgery was rescheduled from Nov 14th to Nov 30. Did a echocardiogram and that revealed another problem. surgery rescheduled to Dec 12. But later had to reschedule that. Finally I have forms that say Cleared for surgery. Got my date start my diet soon and I am on my way..Sorry for the babbling I am just excited
