Hello All, I had my lapband removed 10 days ago. Since the third day post op, my pain has worsened and my mobility is limited. I get a radiating pain that starts where the port used to be wrapping around to the left side of my back. I'm still experiencing low grade fevers and my abdomen itches intensely inside, swollen and painful. Is there a possibility I'm allergic to the sutures that we're used inside? It just doesn't feel normal for abdominal surgery to me. I've had my gallbladder out, hysterectomy, lapband installed, appendix removed, and none of those ever felt like this. Any suggestions?

I got my band on 9/9, had intense hunger pain in the hospital and now at home! A bottle of water and tea crustal lite with a few crackers has helped me. But they do keep me up at night!!! I hate it! Thought I wasn't supposed to feel hungry?

I'm down 16 pounds in 6 days since my surgery; I love it that its down so I've been working out extra intensely to keep the loss down!
