Pre-op testing is 10/6 for surgery on 10/12! I'm on my way. So excited. On day 7 of two week liquid diet. Not loving this part, but if it helps to prepare me for banding and post-op, then I'll hang in there. Any other Oct 12th bandsters out there?

Congratulations on your upcoming banding! My surgery is October 12th and the process went quickly. Went to my first pre op info session on 8 /11 so it will be just 2 months from start to banding( fingers crossed). I am so excited for this. I feel the same way you do about being tired of over eating. Let's keep in touch. Good luck!!

Hi everyone, I'm starting day 4 of pre-op diet. I'm starting to feel less hungry. I didn't have my first shake ( 3 carnation sugar free shakes/ day) till 11 am! Surgery is the 12th!

I am finding that my energy is low as well. I went out to walk my dog and had to take rests and sit down. I'm sure it's the liquid diet. I am on day 3! I made a chicken soup last night and just had the broth. It was yummy and the warm soup was soothing. I just keep looking forward.

So I am almost through day 2 of my 14 day liquid diet. It's not easy but I am looking ahead!

Hi Everyone, I start my pre op diet tomorrow, so my husband and I are going out for my "last supper" to an Italian restaurant here in Boston's North End which is the Italian area with great food. I'm stocked up for tomorrow and ready to start my journey. Surgery is 10/12.

My surgery date is Oct 14th and I am very excited too! A little nervous about the liquids for two weeks though.

My lap band is scheduled for 10/12 and I have to go on a full liquid diet two weeks before. My dr is affiliated with mass general hosp/north shore. I think a two week liquid diet is pretty standard. Good luck!

I am scheduled for 10/12/11 at Salem. Have you had yours yet? How has it gone?
