  1. Hello everyone! I have FEDblue also and I just started my 3 month process last week. So i will finish my 3 months in December, right? The coordinator told me that BCBS usually takes 30 days to approve. My BMI is exactly 40 so I can't afford to loose any weight at all, right? I'm sorry, I just have so many questions! Anywhose, from what I'm learning from you all, it doesn't take that long. Does anyone have any new news on their insurane approval?? I'm so nervouse to start this but i want the three months to go by fast!!! LOL Melissa
  2. Thank you!!! And I'm hoping these 3 months go by quick! I have a question... How much weight did you lose from your first appointment to your surgery date??
  3. Congrats!!!! I just started my process last week and I hope to be where you are soon!!! Don't worry, everything will be great!!! Good luck and let us know how your surgery went!!! melissa
  4. Hello, everyone! My name is Melissa. I'm 30 years old and weight 220 lbs. I'm tired of being tired!! I have a very active 3 year old and most of the time I'm just too tired to play with her. She started to notice and so I decided to do something about it. I had my first appointment with my general doctor and since I have BCBS Federal, I have to do 3 months of weight management. I wish I could have the surgery sooner because 3 months seems like a long time but I know I have to do it!! I was wondering if anyone that has BCBS Federal has ever been denied and for what reasons. I'm very nervous about the whole process!!! thanks to anyone who offers their words of encouragment!
