Advice Needed On Moving Past 6 Month Stall
At about 6 months I hit a stall. I haven't lost weight in 4 weeks. I am starting to get frustrated and concerned. Up until this point I have consistantly been losing weight each week. Anyone else experience this situation? I have considered hiring a dietician, personal trainer, therapist and/or going back to Weight Watchers. I do have a limited funds and can't do them all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Head Hunger
I am 6 months out and all I can think about is food. I can't wait to eat and am always thinking about what I get to eat next. It is driving me nuts. I am having a lot of the binge feelings coming back and they are so powerful. How do I keep this head hunger in check. Is it possible to be having cravings this soon after surgey? Any support would be appreciated!

Thanksgiving Was Weird ... Kinda Sad Actually. Then Got On The Scale Today And Had A 1.4lb Weight Gain....
I can totally relate. There are moments like Thanksgiving where I miss my old friend food too. I missed being able to have a full plate of food and enjoy it. I had to pick two of my favorite things to eat and then try the rest of the food at another meal. Not being able to eat like we used to is a mental adjustment. I just wonder if the day will ever come that I don't miss food so much?

Possible Minor Setback - Need To Whine Briefly :)
It is always discouraging to have a set back. Take comfort in the fact that you know the reason for it. Good luck to you and hang in there!

That's The Beauty Of My Gastric Sleeve
way to regain control of the situation. it is important to recognize our triggers. and those jeans were a trigger. but you stayed rational and remembered you just fit into a 22. so many different brands have different sizes. sometimes it is easy to just go back to the habit of eating. and whether we like it or not our sleeve is enforced behavior modification. thank goodness for our safety net!

Please Help: Pills After Gastric Sleeve Surgery Make Me Sick!
I'm 4 months post op and still have to be really careful with my pills. It is important to take only 1 or 2 pills at a time and also to space the next set of pills 30-45 minutes apart. If I take too many pills or take them too close together I get violent heartburn, then I salivate, then I start to dry heave and have foamies (i never fully throw up) then I have to go diarrhea. It is quite the episode. But I have the quanitity and timing of pills finally all figured out... for the most part Also, I take an XR at night with no trouble. Make sure you have a little something in your tummy. But I don't advise trying to take pills right after you eat, it is hard to get them down and can hurt. And yes it does seem easier to do everything at night. When I asked my dr about my pill problem he said it was because I was overwhelming my stomach. Try to figure out a couple pill plans and don't give up! Hope some of this helps. Email me if you need more!
