  1. Hi all, Have not posted in some time. So I have lost about 30 pounds since my banding on 2/7 and today had my first fill (2cc). Doc told me to come back in 2 weeks to see how it goes. Hope I can start losing again as I been stuck on the same weight for 3 weeks now. Good luck to all.
  2. This is the one habit I cannot break, it is so hard, need tips on how to not drink, it seems that if I don't drink everything gets stuck, please help.
  3. LOL, don't you trip with your beard then?
  4. I think this can be said as well for surgeries in the US so this is a mute point.
  5. Same with me, I was wearing a 48 now I can fit in 46 very well.
  6. The exact same thing happened to me, I woke up with the tube on, they told me to relax and I went back under, It sucked big time and I do not hope this on anyone.
  7. my Doctor only asks for one week liquids and one week mushies post op so I been eating everything I want for a week now, no problems at all.
  8. Hey Neal, congrats on your goal, now you are 2 lbs under, so do you have a new goal?
  9. I love this site, this is great help, no fills yet but now I know what o expect, thanks to all.
  10. Similar story, today at lunch I was eating some quesadillas, I had finish and took one large sip of water, well I felt like I had to puke really bad, it took all I have in me to get the feeling out of me, I took my kid to walk outside to think of something else, thank God I was able to make it pass as I read that trowing up is not good at all.
  11. I second that motion. And Neal should be the VP
  12. Good luck Shean5732, see you in the other side. Ditto on Neil, You are trully an inspiration to me and Im sure others, but I also wonder what your diet looks like. Hope you can let us newbies know.
  13. Liquid diet sucks, I have been on it for 15 days, (10 days pre and 5 days post) and I already hate it. What I did about 5 days before the surgery is I ask my doc if I could have a last "normal" meal and he said OK, that was a life saver.
  14. Hi, My Doctor on my first visit told me he recomended the bypass for me because of all the weight I have to lose but I was to have the final choice, on my follow up visit I told him I decided on the band and he said OK and never mentioned the bypass again. He does both and I think he does more bands than bypases but I felt really that he was not pushing one way or another, this was one of the factors that made me decide on him. I think you need to trust your doctor, after all he will have his hands (well, not really now with the laparoscopies) inside you so if you don't like your Docs aproach maybe you should see another one.
  15. I have been living of yougurt, both forzen and liquid, I put some honey in it to make it really tasty and I has been OK, good luck.
