I'm also waiting to be banded. Have you gotten insurance approval yet, or are you paying for it yourself?

Glenda, I'm right there with you - I can only imagine how much crap I *won't* take from people once I'm banded and have lost a lot of weight! But we can't go back and redo the past, we can only make the future better. And I'm another who's so thankful that the band is available now. I'm ready to start life as the new and improved me!

Can anyone recommend a surgeon in the area who will do removal by itself, without revising to another procedure? If you do, please let me know. Thanks!
