I've spent all of my life being overweight. I have dieted again and again only to gain it all back plus some. Last November I had a stroke and I am trying to make healthy changes in my life now. I guess it's a wake up call. I'm very early in the process of getting banded. I have seen the psychologist and have had my psych evaluation. Turns out I'm fairly normal. I've had a meeting with the surgeon and the dietician. The next steps for me would be the group classes over Oct. and the first part of Nov. I am hoping for a Nov. surgery date. I'm very anxious to get it done. I have been doing lots of reading on this website. It has given me alot to think about and helped me in my research for the band.
