I am wanting to get re-sleeved and was wondering if I have to meet all of the qualifications again and go through all of the testing. I have BCBSTX insurance.

Has anyone been re-sleeved and self paid? Was it the same price as being sleeved for the first time?

Did anyone purchase a secondary health insurance policy to help cover the cost of a revision?

How many calories, carbs is everyone eating at one year post op?

I am 4 months out from sleeve surgery. Am I still supposed to be in ketosis? Do I stay in ketosis until I reach my goal weight? Thanks

I am getting a band to sleeve revision next month and I was wondering if anyone still gets heartburn after their sleeve operation. My friend that was sleeved last December says that she sometimes wakes up literally choking because of the stomach acids coming up at night. Does this happen to anyone? What causes it and how do I prevent it? Thanks

I have a consultation with Dr. Hollis in Houston tomorrow to see if I can get a band to sleeve revision. I will be self pay since my insurance doesn't cover any bariatrics. Since I will be self pay, does anyone know if I will have to go through all the testing again like I did before I had my lap band put in? Also, does anyone have any idea how much a revision surgery will cost? Thanks.

I have an appointment Wednesday to see if I can get a revision to the sleeve. I am paying cash since insurance won't cover it. I was wondering if I will have to go through all the testing again if I am paying cash. I really don't want to wait another 6 months to have surgery. Also, did anyone have any complications from the revision? Any regrets? Were you finally able to lose the weight?

Does anyone living in Texas have an individual health plan that covers bariatric surgery?

For those of you that track your food, when you lost your weight what nutrients did you track? Did you just count calories or did you track Protein and carbs too? Thanks
