  1. I'm getting banded July 13th..it's actually Friday the 13th and I don't know what to think of that. Trying to be positive and not think too much about it. My dr didn't require me to go on a diet but I'm nervous that I won't know what to do once I'm banded...even though I've been over everything a million times. I just don't want to fail
  2. Hi im 23 in chicago, student also. Im in search of a dr. whos doing yours?
  3. Getting put to sleep is my biggest fear too! thats the only thing making me think twice, im terrified!
  4. Hi everyone. Im new and considering the Lap Band. My mother had it done about a year ago and has been extremely happy besides the occasional "food stuck" situation. I want to make sure this is the right decision. Im nervous especially never have been put to sleep ( which is my biggest fear ) or go under the knife. I know my bmi is kinda low, i think, being 34 but ive never been happy with my weight and it has cause major depression. Im trying to find a doctor in Chicago, iL. But im having trouble finding one. How did you guys find your match??
