  4. Hey guys! so i am about 3 weeks post op and i am not having the weight loss i thought i would have. Read alot of post on here saying in one week they lost 9 lbs. Also meet a lady at the hospital who said she lost 30 lbs in one month. I have been following the plan to a T, and so far I have only lost 6 pounds since my surgery date. Has anybody else had low weight loss? I have my first fill in 3 more weeks, and I am just concerned. Let me know what u all think! thanks

  10. Hey I am a 20 yr old college student, I live in west chicago suburbs, and I am looking for other people to meet and get to know who are going through this journey as well. Emails, txts, facebook, maybe even to meet up! I am so excited to have my surgery and would love to meet someone who wants to share stores. :-D
  11. ok great, ill have to try that after
  12. thanks! this is exactly what i wanted to know, what to drink and how alcohol effects u after.
  13. i will be banded by his office (either him or his partner) in august. Saw him at the seminar and he was very nice and funny. But when I went to his office for my first appointment, I was slightly surprised by him. He came in for exactly 1 minute and said it will change your life. Thats it. I thought I would have been able to talk to him more and get a feel for this man who will be operating on me. Now his nurses and assistant at the hospital was very nice. She was very friendly and very interested in me. She also gave me so much information and helped me so much. But maybe he was just busy my day.
  14. I am in the pre-op stage. And i was wondering how does the Lap Band affect drinking. I will be 21 after I get my surgery, and 21st birthday means drinking! :-D so how do i combine these two safely. I dont drink and dont plan to drink alot, except special occasions, like my bday!
