I recently had a conversation with a nurse friends who told me she would love to work with bariatric patients. I asked her why and she said, "Because I have so much respect and admiration for people who love themselves enough to make this decision for their health", I remember that when I feel frustrated and want to give up. Remember how strong you are and your commitment and love for yourself and your health. You can do it, because you are worth it.

Having another laproscopic surgery would not increase your risk, I had laproscopic surgery years ago and was banded last Friday with no complications. It was never considered a risk that I had a similar procedure in the past. I also have a BMI under 40, but because of High Blood pressure and cholesterol,my insurance approved the surgery. Good luck to you!
