  1. Globe (((HUGS))) Everybody needs one sometimes. Shaun T is so cute! If anything - looking at him for 16 workouts - Oh Yeah!!
  2. I am feeling the same way training for my 15K after my plastic surgery. I feel I need to push myself to get back to my normal fitness level. Things are going very slow for me, but I keep trying. Smile. I do not have enough time to train, but I will do my best even if they have to pick me up half way in a wheelchair and push me to the finish line. I am doing it all for the free T-shirt!!! Ha ha ha! Great job Butter!!!!
  3. The words of one of my favorite movies "Forest Gump" "Run Butter Run" Happy half marathon today!!!!!!! Let us know how it went. SMILE!
  4. Hi Kris, I hope with each day, you feel less pain and continue on the road to happy healing. Take it very slow!!!!!!! Smile
  5. There is a growing popularity for people that have had weight loss surgery to look in to getting plastic surgery. Some people have struggled with their weight all their life while others for only a short time elect plastic surgery as an option after weight loss. I decided on plastic surgery, because after working so long and hard to lose weight, and spending countless hours in the gym, I disappointed with all the rolls of extra hanging skin. I felt good about myself on the inside, but I wanted my body to look nice on the outside. After my plastic surgery with Dr Victor Gutierrez in Tijuana, Mexico, my confidence level has sky-rocked. I feel like a new person. This has been an exciting journey for me and this experience has taught me patience. It has taught me that healing takes time. It has most of all taught me to love and respect my body. Photos taken 5 months after my plastic surgery. I had a Mommy Makerover, which consisted of a Lower Body Lift, a Breast Lift, and a Butt Lift. As a personal choice I decided against breast implants. I also did not have liposuction. I went from wearing a size 8 to a size 3/4. My weight on these pictures is 136lbs. I am happy with my results. My scar lines are straight, flat, and starting to blend in with my natural skin tone. The scars on my breast are barely visible. I chose my plastic surgeon, Dr Victor Gutierrez very carefully, after many months of research. After having the surgery, recovery time for me was slow, but steady. Looking back, I would certainly to it all over again!

I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery August 2011. I losit 120lbs. My weight on these pictures was 142lbs. They were taken my my plastic surgeon, Dr Victor Gutierrez located in Baja California, Tijuana, Mexico. I chose him as my plastic suregeon based on his educational background, experience, professionalism, health care concern and reasonable price quote. This pictures clearly show lots of extra skin. My asymmetrical breasts, hanging stomach, and flat butt.
  7. 2 miles. I increased my speed. Thought I was going to pass out!!! It was cold and my asthma flared up. I felt so good after that run! When I got home I was panting gulps of air. I stood over my gas heater an breathed in hot air and was breathing better in no time. 19 miles total for the month.
  8. Hi Kris, Hang in there. The rewards are there. Just give it a few more weeks. I am grateful I did not experience any of your level of pain. I had a LBL, breast and butt lift 6 months ago in Tijuana also, but with a different plastic surgeon, and understand what you are going through. I am sure the doctor can help with adjusting your medication to make you more comfortable. No one likes pain! Thank you for sharing your story, and please know everything will get better.
  9. 4 miles. Total 17 miles for the month Biceps and triceps 10 lbs, 15 reps, 5 Sets
  10. On RealSelf.com they have a list of the top reviewed plastic surgeons with the best ratings in the DFW area.
  11. There is no way I would have been able to go home the same day!! Like cowgirl jane, aftercare was important to me. I could not even get up by myself to go to the bathroom. I think it is crazy being sent home the same day after major surgery. I think traveling out of the country is a smart decision based on each individuals needs. I am a total big baby and need extra care after surgery. Glad I am happy went to Dr Gutierrez.
  12. Monday Ran 1 1/2 miles. It was pouring raining. Total 13 miles for the month. 1s plank. Although it has been 6 months after plastic surgery, I could not do it. I will make my goal 10 push ups a day instead of planks. 3 set 10lbs biceps and triceps. Yesterday my darling little Sweeptees, and Mr. Sweetpee came home starving. Cooked a soup to warm us up. I did not run at all
  13. Exceeded my 3 mile goal today. I ran 3 1/2 miles which brings my total up to 11 1/2 this month.
  14. Thanks for the company. On Friday I thought I was the only nut running in the dark cold freezing rain. I did 2 miles again. I hate it gets dark so quick! Today when I run, I will have Plesant thoughts knowing I am not alone. BIG SMILE!!! My goal is 3 miles today (Sunday)
  15. Checking in today. 6 miles so far. 2 miles today. The weather was bad, so I had to walk on the treadmill. Weighs 10lbs 10 reps/4 Biceps and triceps
  16. I'm in for this month. I think I am ready now. My Plastic Surgery set me back 6 months. I do not know how much I can do. I am working towards a 15K marathon on March 1, 2014. So far this month 4 miles. Yahoo!!!!!!
  17. After paying out of pocket for PS, I have to shop on the sales rack too. Kinda makes me feel like I am beating the system! Smile!
  18. I went to TJ for my PS. I live in Texas also. I was in the air only 2.5 hours on the plane to San Diego. It was well worth it for me.
  19. I hope you are doing well. Keep us posted. Be safe and move slow! Smile
  20. You are looking great Jane. You are doing great not to rush into exercise. I can only walk, which is something I am not use to doing, but I know my body is still in the healing process, even though it has been 5 months. Everyone does not heal at the same rate. I know when my husband gets a cut on his hand, three days later if has completely healed, but whenever I get just a small, tiny cut on my hand, it takes 3 weeks to heal. I am the slowest healer ever! Whenever you are ready, your body will know let you know. GelZone is great! I like use Tamanu oil and Rose oil on my scars before I wrap up with the GelZone. Thank you for the pictures, and updates about your plastics. Smile.
  21. Yes, I like the custom made ones better than 'one size fits all.' However, there are no returns on items that are custom made. http://www.taylorgarments.com
  22. Taylor & Taylor on eBay sell this item. I have ordered from them before, but it was sleeveless and thigh length. It is one of my favorites. The item shown also comes in long sleeves and ankle length and in various colors. The fabric is soft, yet it does compress very well. I plan on having mine custom made, because I need extra compression in my abs and butt area due to my surgery to keep everything in place while it is healing. They do have a phone number where you can call them directly to place special orders. That way you can give them your measurements and have it made just for you. They are very nice! Smile
