Hi hun, you will do well. see you this weekend. kisses
  2. I read on another forum about people adding fat to their high protein diet to brake a stall. Just wondering if any one has tried that. I stalled at 3 weeks and again at 7 weeks. not sure what to do next.

  5. Thank you all. x
  6. I am 7 weeks post op and lost around 35 pounds. Slow loss but I dont seem to break my stall. How many pounds have you lost in 6 weeks? you look awsome
  7. I had my surgery 7 weeks ago and was not doing well the first few weeks as most of us. I was full of regret, depressed and so negative. I think that was normal at 2 and 3 weeks out. I stalled at 3 weeks to top that up. At the beginning I was so happy, I met few people who had the surgery hoping they will support me and understand what I have been going through and not being judgemental but instead one of them was critical to my situation. I was so tearful and shocked when I heard that. At 2 weeks post op what did she expect? why she forgot how it was for her post op? I lost confidence in people around me. I thought friends are there to listen and feel each other’s pain. Any way, getting better these days. Training for 1 to 2 hours a day. Losing slowly but started weighing myself once a week only, ease the stress. Happy that I am eating healthy smaller portions. I want to stay the same person always and not to forget where I have come from. I want to always support newbies without being judgemental. Peace.
  8. Thank you all for sharing your experience and for your encouragement. I feel much better sharing how I feel. It helps alot. I will take each day as it comes. I will be starting this Sunday solid food so hoping to feel much better. I sat by the pool today and enjoyed the weather with some friends, that helped my mood alot. Wishing all the best and praying for the day where I can say sleeve is the best decision
  9. This is just my own personal experience till date.I just need to express how I feel and speak up my mind. Almost 4 weeks post op and I feel depressed, down and lonely. I am becoming so emotional and tearful. Small things make me crying. I am not catching up with our friends as before cause I feel like staying alone. Stalled at 2 weeks and hasn’t lost any since. It is like I need this on top. I did the surgery to lose weight and feel healthy but I feel weak, dizzy and always hungry. After few failed IVF, I am hoping this surgery will help but scared to death it wont make any difference. I have back pain since surgery and it is not going away. It is causing lots of pain especially when I am laid down on my back or sitting long. My scares still hurting and I can feel some tightness in my sleeve. Not knowing if it is something I should worry about or it is normal. My husband is supportive but will never understand what I am going through. Praying things will get better soon.
  10. Thanks ladies. Can not wait to stop on the scale and find good figures. Desertmom, we should go for a walk 3 times per week around Marina walk. See soon. Xo

  13. Lol, nice I like it. I am going to surprise my family in July. I haven't told any one from my family or friends back home about the surgery. I live in Dubai so going back home in July will be a shocking surprise to everyone. can't wait.
  14. Hi Gutless, I am almost your age. My experience is really tough. I have had eight failed (IVF+ICSI). I put on around 45 pounds in the process. Now doctor advised me to lose around 70 pounds before I try again. I know I am getting old but sometimes being overweight does not help with getting pregnant quickly. I was sleeved on 26/2 and hoping to lose around 75 pounds in 6 months. Doctor told me if my blood test shows no Vitamins deficiency by the end of 6 months and weight is stabilized, I can try for a baby. Just my experience. good luck with your decision.
  15. A friend nurse advised to me to have Anis herbal tea (Yansoune) twice a day and it really helped with lots of walking. I was sleeved on 26th and the pain from gaz was worse than surgery itself. You will find in the international food section.
  16. Are you feeling hungry after the surgery. I am starving for food. My friend said it is stomach acid but medication is not helping and I am worried I will have the same during solid food stage.
  17. Hiya. I had my surgery on 26/02/12. It is taking me around 45 min to finish half cup of broth. Sometimes longer. I am adding yogurt to my food tomorrow will see how it goes. Hi Rob. I have been to Norway 4 times already. Trondheim and Oslo. what a beautiful country. good luck with your weight loss.

  23. People are just being ignorant and judgemental....I live in Dubai close to the city where this patient died. People here are not too open about their weight issues.
