  1. I remember one of the first dinner dates out with my hubby 2 months post op, we were out of town, and we decided to share a meal, and the waiter made a remark about being anorexic or something to that...I thought it was really rude and made me feel super uncomfortable.

  7. OK so I tried on a LBD today, but I felt like Wilma Flinstone HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It was a black one shoulder not and not right for me. Still hoping I will find the perfect LBD just right for me and be able to post here one day
  8. OK MY friends it makes me sooo happy hearing all of your weight loss dreams, because they are going to come true!!!! One of the things I wanted to do was to walk up the stairs of my home with no pain DONE! Now I run up my stairs!!! Even hiked the Grand Canyon (BEYOND my dream). Here's another one, initially I just wanted to reach a size 10, HONEY I LITERALLY SKIPPED 10's all together (BEYOND my dream) AND NOW I'M A 6 AND EVEN WEARING SOME 4's SAY WHAT?????. Then I just wanted to be able to fit in my wedding dress (from October 1990), WELL GUESS WHAT??? it HAPPENED!!!! (ANOTHER DREAM REACHED). Continue to Dream and DREAM BIG LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I went on a out of state road trip in October 2011, 2 months after my surgery. Everything was OK except eating out. That was a challenge for me, since it was all new.

  12. For some weird reason WHITE BREAD or WHITE ROLLS...I can eat a biscuit, or mini wheat bun, but nothing WHITE it's so weird. But it's OK not good for me anyway.
  13. It was a few months out, and I could only eat a few kernels literally LOL, now I can eat a whole lot and it's sooooo yummy
  14. I don't understand how people can live without carbs in their diet. I can't function without them. During my weight loss journey I never really gave them up completely, and I was able to lose and get to goal. I eat pasta several times a week. But with that said every individual is different, and you have to see what works best for you. Best wishes!

  16. You should be fine now. Give it a try tonight hope it works for you, if not it will get better eventually...I was dying because I sleep on my side with a body pillow and I couldn't do it for a while.
