ABSOLUTELY YES ...I'm almost 3 years out and I would do it again in a heart beat, I just wish I could have had it done 10 years sooner than I did.

Guess what peeps???? I'm almost 3 years out and I'm joining weight watchers TOMORROW eek ....I've always LOVED their program and I want to learn more about the 360 program I hear fruits are free points now??? LOL! I have been eating terribly and need to get back on track and need to be accountable to a weekly weigh in. I'm still a 6-8 but I feel bloated. Just need to get back on track ...I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for the "what is this girl doing here" looks LOL...I used to do that to others too, anyhoo I will keep you posted! Hugs!!!!

Wow! That is terrible ...I too had no comorbitities. My surgery was done based on joint problems. My surgeon told me not to gain any weight and to lose before my surgery and I was 216. I got to 204 the day of surgery and he was super happy about that. It actually helped me to reach my final goal of 150 (I'm nearly 5'6). I actually got down as low as 144. HOWEVER, if I would have had your situation I would stay within the guidelines so I could have the surgery! Best wishes!!!!!!!

I felt better (normal) day 14...but the first 5-6 months were the toughest for me (mentally). I was depressed that I just couldn't eat like I used to I used to live to eat and now I really really do eat to live...it was quite a transition, and so worth whatever I had to go through. I am 28 months out and a size 6 and LOVING and so THANKFUL for my sleevie!!!!!!!!!

I have always had thin hair (but a lot of it). I started losing my hair at 2 months out and it got really bad ...through this ordeal I discovered clip on extensions and I absolutely love them. Now that my hair has grown out in length (not in fullness) I still wear them, I even got longer 18 inch ones for Christmas. They are so FUN! It's soooo worth it!!!!

Girl we is twins LOL yayyyy! my weight day of surgery was 204 and I also lost 60 lbs. and got down to 144 ...from a size 16-14 to a 6-and some 4's...now holding a 6 at 28 months post op!!!
