  1. You are full!! The chest pain means you are full. You are vomiting because you are full. The new "full" feeling you will experience after sugary feels more like chest pain or air bubbles than the pre surgery full feeling like after a really big thanksgiving dinner. The reason it goes in cycles is because sometimes you are so full it may take a day or 2 for you to be "empty" again. You really should only be eating about 1/2 a cup at a time and listening for the soft cues. Hicc-ups or an air bubble feeling. All of the vomiting is not good for you. Your best bet is to talk with your surgeron and let them know what amounts you are eating and what foods you are eating. Chances are you are feeling restriction and just don't know it.
  2. Hi All!! My Banding birthday is 9/10/10. I have lost almost 90lbs. I had really hoped to have lost 100 lbs in my first year but it doesn't look like I am gonna hit that goal. I am just going to keep on keeping on and go from there. I have read several posts and am glad to see that it is not just me who eats about a palm full and then 2 hours later feels like they could use a little something protien based of course. I am feeling re-engernized now!!! Good luck to us all!! See you in Twoterville!!
  3. My doctor made me get one. He said "It is my experience that if I don't make you do one now it will be a very long time before you ever go back for one."
  4. This happens to me all of the time!!!! I have been told that it is a soft sign that I am full. So I listen to it and stop eating at that same time.
  5. You really are doing great. If you are uncomfortable at all make sure to talk with your doctor. I thought I was still getting great big gas bubbles and I was mild uncomfortable at times. It turns out that what I was feeling was my band. I just didn't know that that it is what it was supposed to feel like. So don't get discouraged.
  6. For me it turns out that that feeling like an air bubble is stuck and you have to burp means you have eaten to much. That is your new "full Feeling" especially if you are on cream type soups. So FYI
  7. I hate it when that happens. When you look at your plate and know that there is no way you could have eaten enough to be stuck yet you can hear the glug glug and feel the bubbles!
  8. That should have been excited not sexcited. BTW I have lost a total of 81.7 lbs!!!
  9. I was banded in Sept. '10. I am 19 lbs. away from twoderville!!! I am so sexcited. The band has been a life saver. I love my new healthy life and the fact that the lbs are just melting away.
