  1. I'm almost three weeks out... i've lost almost 20 pounds. I don't always make the right decisions on what to eat, but even when I eat something unhealthy, I can only hold a small amount, so yes, you will still lose weight.
  2. Breaking up with food...I love it! : )
  3. Glad to know I'm not alone but sorry you're feeling that way too. How much have you lost?
  4. My vsg was June 28, so I'm only two weeks post op, but my Dr has advanced me to soft foods. He says I can have anything that can be mushed with a fork. I'm eating a wide variety of foods but I'm getting so angry that I can't eat more than a few tsp at a time. I know not to "graze" and continually eat, and I know i'm not really hungry, but i still WANT to eat more. Does that addiction/feeling ever go away? I do understand the logistics, and that this is how the surgery works. I'm still having times where I regret having the surgery, but i've lost 15 pounds in two weeks so that helps pull me in the other direction.
  5. My surgery was also June 28. I'm eating a large variety of foods, just very small amounts. Pimento and cheese, chicken salad, grilled chicken wrap from mcdonalds (minus the wrap), yogurts, applesauce, I even ate a spoonful of cheese topping off of my daughters pizza. I figure thats not going to make me fat, its the entire pizza i used to eat that would make me fat. I'm just careful with chewing everything really well. My dr says I can eat anything now that can be mushed with a fork. I usually can only hold 2-3 tsp of food at a time. I'm still in the phase where I get mad, even though i'm not really hungry i WANT to eat more. I'm down 15 pounds. What about you?
