How much is average weight loss by end of 1st month?
I lost about 20lbs my first month, and another 12 in the second month. I have not exercised much, but am starting a program now. I think 15-20 the first for weeks is probably standard, and I was very happy with that number!

- AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!
Thanks for all of your input! It is nice to know that I may not need 4 weeks....wasnt sure, but I do help lift patients off of the scan table ( I work in a fixed base MRI scanner at a small hospital). I have applied for STD and FMLA for my WLS as well as for my Fibromyalgia. I was also planning more time possibly due to being dependant on a pump for my insulin therapy. Thanks for all of the great info, and for listening to my frustrations!- AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!! So I finally get a Pre_Op appt and a surgery date within 30 days after that....I have been working through this process for 8 months now, and my Supervisor says " I am not sure I can give you 4 weeks off for an elective surgery!" Never mind that my last extended time off for surgery was 5 days for a knee scope in 2001! UNBELIEVABLE!!- 60lbs down pic
You look great! Keep up the good work! Looks like an awesome trip! Shelleyrox- The Countdown Is On.....
Really anxious to get started with my journey, now that I have heard from a few "pumpers". Seems like some Sleevers with Diabetes have huge success, while others have marginal results as far as reducing or eliminating their Diabetes meds. I am newly hopeful that I may be able to stop taking Insulin altogether... Special thanks to Dawn for sharing her story with me 1 week post-op....Congratulations on your success so far!!!! Shelley- September Sleevers
Hoping to be sleeved in September! I have my final appt with the surgeoen and should get a surgery date next week! WHEW!!!! Finally! I started researching this two years ago....started the official process in January! It will be great to compare notes with you on our post-op journey!!!Good Luck and Best Wishes! - 5 months out..with pictures!
