  2. I researched this surgery for over 2 years. Finally I made the decision to do it. Had my surgery Aug. 14. Best decision I have ever made for myself and my health. I am a slow loser, only down 31 pounds on just over 2 months. But it's coming along and I am feeling better every day. It's such a great feeling to see the scale moving down instead of up! And it's just the beginning. Good luck with your journey!!!!
  3. I'm in! Surgery date: Aug. 14. SW - 260 CW - 229.5. GW 217.

  9. This is so me! I have never had a sweet tooth. Since surgery, I'm craving sweets like crazy! Even cave on occasion and have some bad for me sugary treats. I'm hoping it's just a phase cause these sugary treats are sliders for sure : (

  15. I travelled for work 2 1/2 weeks after surgery. Flew from Phoenix to Jacksonville and in meetings for 3 days. I brought protein drinks and bars and was careful with my eating. No issues at all.
  16. I'm so excited!!! I've been stalled forever and went from 244 last week to 239 today. 5 pounds! Woop, Woop!!!! Please, no more stalls for me : )

  20. Hoping I can get some advice. I had my surgery last Wednesday, so 6 days out. I am feeling amazing. Energy levels really improving and now eating real food, although very tiny portions. I plan to return to work at 2 weeks. I have a pretty big business meeting on September 3 for 3 nights that I did not think I would be able to attend. Now I'm having second thoughts and think maybe I could. Would require travel from Phoenix to Jacksonville, so all day air travel. Once there, just meetings. My co workers mostly know so I think I could manage the meal situations. So, would you go this soon? Or have you travelled this soon after surgery? Thanks in advance for any input : )
  21. Surgery today at 1230pm! Feeling kinda numb. Maybe that's a good thing : ). Good luck to everyone else having surgery today. Here we go!!!
