Weight has always been a problem for me - I'm tall and people say "I carry it well" but I know that my clothes are getting bigger and bigger... I've tried every diet under the sun, working out obsessively, and denying myself things as punishment. This, of course, leads to binging. I eat well, but have a problem with feeling full on the recommended serving size. Last August I started the Bariatric classes through Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, VT and had my lap-band surgery on Wednesday, 5/25. I have lost 25 lbs since beginning my classes in August 2010, including 15 since surgery. My goal is to lose 100 lbs, putting me at 180 lbs. Perhaps I'll try to lose a little more after that, but for now I'm happy that I'm losing my 2nd tire and am getting a little waist, as per my after shot. More images to come, as I lose the weight!
