marylmcd54 got a reaction from Maddysgram in Not Shopping In The Big Ladies Department
I went shopping again to buy smaller sizes since all my clothes are so big on me now.
I am down a little over 80 pounds now, little over a year out from being banded.
I keep graviatating towards the larger sizes that don't fit.
I too bought an extra large button shirt! I am very pleased with my weightloss so far too!
Helen098 doesn't just feel great to shop in smaller sizes!!!!

One year ago today I had lap band surgery! I am down 74.4 pounds and have lost 60% of my weight!
I love my band, it was just the help I needed after years of yo-yo dieting!
I want to lose another 29 pounds. Once I get those 29 off I will really think if I need to lose another 10. First picture is now 2nd picture was a week after surgery.

marylmcd54 got a reaction from ☠carolinagirl☠ in Calorie Counting
I wasn't counting till just recently. I was playing with the same couple of pounds so was getting mad.
I started using myfitnesspal.com and now stay at or around 1200 calories and watch my carbs, fats and protein intake.
I have started losing again, last week I was down over 4 pounds. Hoping for 2 pounds a week.
I declined a fill last month and just started doing the daily tracking. I am still undecided if I need a fill in a couple of weeks. I guess if I am tracking and eating the right foods I can still lose without one.

I do not stick with the 4oz, I make sure I eat all my protein and very few carbs.
Just try to eat healthy and get all the required protein in.
I make better choices than prior to my surgery, I watch that my snacks have 5 or less grams of fat and 5 or less grams of sugar. I do stay away from sweets, since those were my downfall. I have not had chocolate candy in almost a year. If I want chocolate I have sugar free chocolate pudding. I am down close to 75 pounds, I think I am almost where I need to be for fills too.
