  1. Darcy - So glad you're feeling better! Whoo hooo!!! And great progress pics - congrats!!! All you pity-party non-Vegas bandsters - you were terribly missed. Sounds like you all did well for yourselves, though!! LOVED the outfits!! lol
  2. Ah.... **sniff** Memories... Girls, it was such a blast to meet everyone! I can't believe it was all over so quickly! Lisa - a bizillion thanks for your wonderful hospitality, your generous spirit, your going above and beyond (and beyond, and beyond!) all weekend, taking on this huge task of making such a wonderful weekend for us all. I love your home, I adore you and Chris for taking us to Cerbat - John is STILL glowing about all the silver minerals he found. One piece even has flecks of gold that he can't wait to test on a streak plate... No nuggets, but he is one happy camper, for sure. He can't wait to go back and spend a couple days in those localities. I did not get to talk to anyone nearly enough - but I loved touching base with each and every one of you. Megan - I feel like you're one of those people carrying around a missing part of me. I could have talked with you for hours. Ginny - Girl, you are just too huggable! Penni - boa story to come in the not too distant future. Take good care of that thing - I could never do it justice. Leatha - You are too adorable! I didn't get a chance to talk with you hardly at all!! (of course, that's true of almost everyone... ) Karen - fabulous to meet you. Again, wish we'd had more time to talk. Vika - so great to meet you!! Hope you find us on this board! Let me know how you're doing. Teresa - You are so adorable! Again... no time to talk... Vera - I know I would get into waaaay too much trouble with you... Cutie-pie. Babs - you have had such an amazing journey - I'm so proud of you! Good luck with everything - I'm pulling for you! Carol - You look fabulous! So sorry we didn't have much chance to talk. Michelle - electric eyes! Sexy voice! So great to finally meet you. Hope I didn't miss anyone - hugs to you all! This weekend was so wild and crazy - the nest of wild women at DeLarla's was a chaotic mass of bonding... lol Wonderful. Again, I wish I'd had a chance to talk more with everyone - maybe next time. This is happening again next year??? smooches!
  3. I'm bringing extra shoes... lol
  4. uhhhh.... You are implying it's possible????? If Penni doesn't bring you one, I'll buy you one myself!!!
  5. I am SO SO SO SO excited!!! But I am so sad that we ALL can't be there... I'll be thinking of you guys, and if nothing exciting happens (uh, yeah, RIGHT! lol), we will make up lots of stories for all of your entertainment! We'll each have a drink in your honors. Let's see, 1400+ members, -21 attendees... ooopss, not all attendees are members. Uh, okay, just to make it easy, that's 1400+ drinks apeice... hic

  12. Whoo hooo!!! Babs - WOW! Okay, I know I'm not even comparing before and afters, but I don't need to see the befores to see that you look GREAT. Just a couple more days!!!

WOW... My predictions are getting more and more accurate!! I guess it's just a matter of time before I have my own show, like John Edward... The question is, of course... Did I predict the future, or precipitate it?!?! Hot bike! Congrats!! Don't lose the house before this weekend - we need a place to BBQ on Saturday!!! lol
  17. Wonderful!!! Love it!!!
  18. Tellie - I am so, so sorry that this time round was so hard on you. But I'm glad you're fixed up, and in a couple weeks you'll probably feel good as new. **hugs**
  19. Wow, Ryan... Don't take this the wrong way, but you're starting to remind me of my remodeling projects... lol I want to do something that seems easy and straightforward, like replace the outside door with a REAL door, and as soon as I make the decision, the problems start unfolding... lol Can't get a door the same size, so have to make the opening bigger. Once the old door is out, and the opening is bigger, I see that the wiring will not accomodate a taller door. Once the wiring problem is solved, I see that the header isn't going to work like I thought... Once the door is in, it's virtually impossible to level, and the bolts don't line up with the receiving holes... (ARGGGGHHHH!) But you know what? In spite of the trials and tribulations, the delays and setbacks, I FINALLY got the silly new door, and it's EVERYTHING I hoped it would be, and I LOVE it. Although the whole process was extremely painful and frustrating, in the end it was all worth it. Hopefully your path to your new band won't make any more downs, but you WILL get there, and when you do... It will have all been worth it. Like Mothers and childbirth... As soon as the baby arrives, the nine months before, and the pain of delivery fade into distant memory... (or so I've been told! lol) **hugs**

  21. From the Chicago Tribune: The Official 2004 Presidential Debate Drinking Game By David Martin. David Martin lives in Ottawa Canada Published September 29, 2004 Let's face it. The presidential debates are a nuisance. But for whatever reason, most television networks feel obliged to carry them. So stop your whining and make the best of a bad situation with the Official 2004 Presidential Debate Drinking Game. All you have to do is line up your favorite beverage and pick a candidate. Then let the game begin: - - Every time President Bush says the word "safer," take a drink. If he uses the word "democracy" in the same sentence, make it a double. - For every John Kerry reference to the UN, have a drink. - If Bush uses the phrase "compassionate conservative," you must chug your entire beverage. - Take one drink for every three times Kerry points with his left hand. - Any previously recorded Bushism, like "misunderestimate" or "subliminable," used by the president during the debate requires one drink. - If Kerry exceeds the time limit for any response, take a drink. - Back-to-back offenses require a double shot and a NoDoz. A reference by your candidate to any of the following requires one drink: 1) Florida 2) North Korea 3) Axis of evil 4) Saddam Hussein 5) The American people - And for an exciting twist on the game, anytime anybody mentions the word "Vietnam," everybody has to take a drink. In this game, everyone's a winner. At worst, you'll reach the end of the debate experiencing a warm, pleasant buzz. But if you're really lucky, you'll pass out by 10 o'clock and won't have to listen to the closing statements. Cheers!
  22. ROTFLMAO!!! Geez, I wish I'd KNOWN that... This reminds me of an off color joke... I know, what doesn't?!? lol "Do you know why women are so bad about judging distances? Because ever since time began, men have been telling them that __________ is "nine" inches..." So my version of that joke is: "Do you know why men are so bad about judging how much things weigh? Because ever since time began, women have been telling them that (((()))) is 135lbs..." lol

You ARE barely restricted! Eat more, Sweetie. Your band is wide open, and offering very little help at the moment. Don't stuff yourself - go carefully (chew, chew, chew, eat slowly, listen to your new "full" signal) - but don't go hungry, either. Once you start getting fills eating less won't be a struggle. Physically, anyway...
  25. Betty - What terrific news!! I remember how thrilling getting a set date was. Sending you lots of positive vibes!
