  1. I love myfitnesspal! I've used pretty much all of them and this is by far my favorite and my most compliant app. I've actually used it for 65 days and usually I quit the others in less than a month.
  2. Thank you so much for your replies. I'm just glad to know that I'm not crazy and other people have had it too.
  3. I had my surgery on Oct. 19, 2011 and for about a month I had severe sporadic pain in my neck that would radiate to my hand. It went away and it was pain free for 2-3 weeks and then I got a fill yesterday and it came back. It's excruciating! It stopped after I went to sleep last night and I hope it stays away. Last time I asked the surgeon about it she said she thought I "slept" on it wrong during surgery. Does anybody else have this problem?
  4. I had my first fill yesterday Dec. 8th and only had 1.5 cc's put into my empty band. I can tell a difference because it takes me like an hr. to drink my protein shake.
  5. I wore one home from the hospital the next day and didn't have any trouble. I had to have help fastening it for the first 5 days.
  6. Mine was 6 months exactly due to insurance requirements.
  7. Thank you Shirley! I feel so much better and I'm 14 lbs. lighter so my back hasn't hurt me.
  8. I could really use some 18/20 tops and will pay for shipping and some extra. Thank you!
  9. Oh yeah! I had it and I would vomit but nothing would come up and I just ate sugar free bomb pops all day long. It was bad but only lasted a day.
  10. I know it stinks but it will go by fast. I had to do it for 6 months and it only felt like 2 or 3.
  11. My surgery was 10/19 and I had to take all of my pain pills because I had a hiatal hernia repair during my banding procedure. I'm on the mushy diet stage and can't wait to eat soft foods on Thurs. I've lost 11 lbs. so far.
  12. I know that feeling all too well. I hope your night gets better and all the other days too.
  13. Not having additional surgeries ex. back and knee. Getting to play with my kids. Swimming everyday in summer because I won't feel bad in a bathing suit. Going to college. Getting a good job. Learn to rock climb.
  14. I'm glad it went well. Welcome to the club!
  15. I had the same problem and my surgeon recommended Milk of Magnesia. It worked! Found out the hard way to take the lower dosage.
  16. Possibly. After surgery just thinking about my protein shakes made me sick but, I had to drink them anyways. Hope it gets better for you.
  17. Another great option is Chair Aerobics. I have bad knees and that's what I've been using and I think it's really fun. I know they have Sit and be Fit series but I really like the Chair Dancing series. You can check it out http://www.collagevideo.com/searchresults.aspx?type=all&search=chair+dancing
  18. I really didn't think that I'd be able to eat slow either but I've actually been doing it and I do it with a baby spoon. I too thought about all the what if's, but I'm so unhealthy, can't play with my kids, and can't enjoy my life. I had my surgery 10/19/11 and even though I still hurt (had a hiatal hernia repair too), I think I made the best decision of my life.
  19. LOL! I'm not the only one with the kitten problem. I've been locking myself in my room because every time she pounces on my stomach.
  20. I have 6 and had a hiatal hernia.
  21. I'm finally getting banded tomorrow! I'm in Norman,OK staying right across the road so I can be there @ 6:30 AM. I can't wait to bein the loser club!
