I got my band for portion control. I still can eat and drink most anything and I've maintained and lost weight doing it!

I don't have them all the time. Diet soda is not as carbonated as regular. And beer all the foam needs to settle first

I had the lower profile port and I honestly don't see a difference this one sticks out too

I can't gulp liquid but i can drink it at a good pace. The only thing I have to sip us soda and beer

Doing good! Little sore under the armpits. Go to Dr today to change bandage so I can see them.

5am day of surgery. Feeling anxious and nervous. Have to be there at 7am. Sure would like a cup of coffee. Wondering what their going to look like.

I didn't have pain with my lapband or LBL, so I wasn't too worried about pain, I just needed some input on when I can get to doin things, since it is summer. I only have a few days of sick pay, so I need to get back to work ASAP. Really kind of curious about does your nipples still get hard from like cold air and such? Wierd little things

I'm getting the anchor cut, and going under my arm pit. My breast are really heavy and thick. close to 5lbs each. very similer to Scamp. Thanks for the info. PS said I should be able to go back to work in 2 weeks.

I'm so happy for u! I have to wait till I get my thighs done to get into a smaller size.

They go off what I say. But I never get more than .4 at a time cause I know that it takes a couple of days to take effect. That comes from experience of trial and error. I only go twice a year to get a fill.

I would say its a steady drinking more than sipping and not gulping. As if your taking pills.

Question about the tata's-lift/reshaping/reduction

In the next couple of months I go in for my lift and reduction. I'm ready. Doc says I need 2 weeks off from work. Not sure when I can get that much time off again. Like to go back in a week. Since I got the LBL my back hurts worse than ever! I'm a DDD now like to go to a D or C -
I gained about 10 lbs, but it coming down now! My fault entirely, when they changed my port, I lost my restriction. My Dr said He wouldn't give me a fill for 6 weeks. So I binged on all the bad stuff that I haven't had in 2 years. I was a very bad girl!

CBT- I too am always hungry and have been over eating. My band helps to the amount but I seem to be eating constantly. My DR. said My body needs the extra calories to help with healing.

I just had a LBL. I had to have a low profile port put in but not deflated. However some fluid was lost during the switch. -
For easy chewing grilled steak - ribeye is the best choice.

I was off 6 weeks, I was only suppose to be off for 3, but I had all those issues. I work in the cash office at Walmart. I just never realized how much twisting and turning and reaching I do. Still can't pick up heavy stuff off the floor yet. Maybe in another month or so, I don't want to take the chance of reopening my stitches again, It's almost healed up.
