  1. My Nut reminded me that she wants me to get 64 oz Fluid every day. I do good to get 48. I can promise you if you don't stay hydrated you will end up in the ER for fluids (then you will gain 6 pounds overnight). Also, you mentioned tea; make sure it is decaf. Caffine retains Water. Good luck.
  2. I stalled at two weeks out and am still stuck going on week six. I'm beginning to wonder if I should have had the RNY instead. I really do know I made the right decision but this can get you a little down. I know I won't be the only failure but I have always been a late bloomer.
  3. Hi, I'm new here but wanted to mention: day of surgery 304, 3 weeks out 280. At three weeks out, switching to mushies, I realized I had slacked off of liquids. At a restaurant one night I hit the floor and suddenly there were two ambulances. They couldn't get my heart rate and my BP was 70/50. Problem: dehydration. At the ER I got two bags of Fluid and gained 6 pounds overnight. I lost 3 in the next few days but hit a plateau for two whole weeks. Talk about depression, especially with my BFF, who was totally against the surgery, saying "I told you so" with her eyes and attitude. So please everyone, please be compliant. Get your liquids in whatever you have to do. No excuses.
