Somebody (can't remember who) asked me for an estimate on costs to San Antonio/Gruene The one B&B I looked at was about $220 for all 3 nights. Airfare from various airports is; ABQ - $178 ONT (Kity) - $264 Detroit (Judy?) - $286 Kansas City - $205 BWI (Michelle) - $292 (with a change of plane in Houston!...or you could just ride with us...fly to houston is $281) The temps would definitely be warm....in the mid- high 80's.

This is a mystery we have never figured out!!! Jenn doesn't type that, it just shows up whenever she types the word "pair" .... (I think)....Isn't that just the weirdest thing you've ever heard??

Gina - I am so sorry to hear about your woes....but something just doesn't sound right. Can I suggest that you post in the complications forum for ideas? I know that for a stretched pouch it's recommended to get on liquids for a few days to give it time to get back to it's normal shape. Did the doctor even recommend that? Why don't you try it at least and see if it helps at all. I think I may be having a similar problem....I'll do liquids with you if you want! Hey, we might even lose a few pounds in the process!! Ok, then........how about Vegas.......or back to Tunica?? [Edit] I just did a comparison of Vegas and Atlantic City.... AC was twice the cost ($603 vs $1150) for me. That would knock me out of the trip.

Check out this place in Colorado ... in Manitou Springs at the base of Pike's Peak....there's so much to do there! 20 mins away from Colorado Springs and 2 hrs away from Denver. Colorado Springs - Manitou Springs Bed Breakfast Lodging Pikes Peak CO I've been to Manitou Springs and didn't want to leave!!!

How about Phoenix, Kat? It's expensive there, huh? Vegas is a good alternative....easy to get to for most, cheap, and lots to do. The weather should be awesome. We could even use Msjen's travel service to get good rates right before. I've never been to Atlantic City...is it nice? I don't want michelle to have to do so much work and i like the idea of being in a hotel....it's just more flexible. How about Lake Tahoe? Is there anything around the Pittsburgh/Philly area?

If you want a REAL taste of Texas, here's my idea....just to throw it out there: One of my favorite spots in Texas is the little historic town of Gruene. The Guadalupe River (our favorite toobin' river) runs right thru it and there's lots of outfitters ready to rent you a toob and an ice chest to float down the river. By far one of my favorite pass-times....takes about a half-day. The weather will definitely be warm enough to do this....and it's a BLAST. There's oodles of cute shops in the restored little town where you can easily spend a whole day just moseying around. That weekend is also the Gruene Market Days....where Texas artisans gather to show off and sell their handicrafts. Gruene is also home to the the "Oldest Dance Hall in Texas" and i guarantee you that every country singer worth his salt has played there at one time or another. Willie and Jerry Jeff have played there tons. It's all open air with lots of cold beer, cute cowboys in tight jeans, and fun as hell. This offeres a good overview of the town: Historic Gruene Texas This is one of the very cool, very Texas-like guest houses: http://www.gruenehomesteadinn.com/farmhouse.htm A group of 10 could get this for about $200/3 nights. You fly into either Austin or San Antonio and drive about an hour. Very easy to get to. We could even do one night (Sunday?) in San Antonio to get a taste of that special place, too.

Texas is in the smack dab middle of the country!! LOL I love Palm Springs and I love the 4 corners!!! How 'bout Colorado?? OY!!!!!

I'm sorry you feel so crappy :smile: I was very lucky with my 'female issues' all my life and am so grateful for that. There are some great suits out there now that can really keep you all tucked in....like a big ol' SPANX! lol They're usually on the expensive end (like $65-100) but they do the job!! Dillard's always has many to choose from...that's where I usually end up buying a suit. I'll bet Penney's has 'em too.

Oh yeah, Michelle -- I meant to mention your chocolate tips too....I'm a horrible chocoholic! I really like the oreo 100 calorie packs and sugar free fudgsicles...those are my fave for curing my cravings.
