  1. Yes, Tracy -- for a Thursday check-in. Gosh that house is so beautiful!! I'm glad we decided on an extra day.
  2. I can't see photobucket at work Boooooooooo. TracyinKS -- WHERE ARE YOU???
  3. House lease is signed and deposit is paid!! Wooooo hoooooooooo!!
  4. Hey, I sold my second piece to the general public yesterday!! It was actually someone from LBT who followed the link in my siggy!
  5. Uh, no. My son starts college today and my daughter has her first day of high school. Her bus comes at 6:25!! ....although she did ask if she could have a "friend" drive her to school. Uh, what friend??? Her new friend, "Hector", she says. :):confused2::w00t::eek: You think you got troubles??? ROFL! NOT!!!
  6. Many people have problems with eggs in any form, so that doesn't surprise me. I can't tell you what it is about eggs, but it's common! Fried or (dry) grilled chicken is also another common problem. You have to cut it up in teeny tiny pieces....like the size of a pencil eraser. No kidding.
  7. Are you throwing up or are you PB'ing?
  8. Thanks for the order, Becky! You sweetheart! I don't know about the fluroscopy being bad for you....maybe if you had 10 a month or something!? I've been banded 15 months and have only had 2. They aren't really necessary...just helpful.
  9. A fluroscopy is an x-ray type test. You swallow a bit of barium and they watch it as it goes down your esophagus and through your band. It will tell the doctor how restricted you are. My doctor has the machine in his office so he uses it whenever there is a question about whether one is too tight or not.
  10. For all you cat loverz... http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/funny-pictures-cat-advises-you-to-look-next-time.jpg
  11. Denise - your babies are precious!!! I'll definitely keep you in my prayers --I've had kid troubles, too and I feel your pain. Your kids and grandkids are so very lucky to have a mom/granny like you. I hope the clouds lift soon. Judy - How many kabobs did you eat last night? LOL It's hard for me to imagine fall coming so soon....we're a good 2+ months away from weather like that. Jane - Wow...that sure sounds stressful. Please take good care of yourself during this time and check in often...we'll be worried about you! Are you still enjoying your Wii? Kat - I just keep thinking about you waking up with your flat tummy! Lol... Gee, I wonder what that feels like?! Sometimes I think I'll never know! Me thinks it's time for another fill. TracyinKS - uh, where the heck are YOU? Haydee - been meaning to ask -- do you have a website for your wedding venue? How do ya'lll advertise? Looking forward to dinner and I LOVE Red Onion!! I think I can get there for about 6:00....ok? :-D Yum! Wish Tracy could join us! TracyK - Whatchu doin' today? It's actually kind of nice outside right now! WTF?? I'm determined to get some jewelry made today. Then off to see my mom a little later. I can't believe what an absolute SLUG I was yesterday. I did NOTHING worthwhile. Even took a 3 hr nap. Interestingly enough, I didn't graze all day like I normally would...even had cottage cheese for dinner. Maybe Kat has inspired me. We'll see if I can do it again today. DH is off to play golf (again) and then running errands -- won't be home til late afternoon! Nice quiet weekend around here.
  12. You get to sit on the patio with your Violets and laugh your ass off!
  13. That's great news, Kat. Honestly, I was concerned. I'll bet you just had a plain ol' bug. You have much to be happy about today! :-) ((Hugs!))
  14. Oh yeah!! Good point, Laura! Duh!
  15. Good question, Haydee. I'll wait to see what everyone's schedule looks like first, for sure. I don't want to be waiting in the airport for 3 hours. I'll make a google spreadsheet like we did before and everyone can plug in their proposed flights. Most likely the airline schedules will change between now and then so it's risky to book now in that regard...but probably not that big of a deal. It's tempting because fares are looking cheap....can't imagine them going much lower than $300!
  16. My thoughts are to go ahead and check into the house. By the time we got enough hotel rooms to house ~6+ people, it would end up costing about the same (but I haven't checked that for sure). Besides, we can spend some time stocking it with supplies and be done with that chore. Check-in is at 4:00 but we can request early check in, too...for a $25 charge.
  17. Haydee - That'd be great!! But the only day I can do it is Thursday. How's that look for you? I'm just plain ol' bored today. Kids are gone, DH was golfing, already made a silver bracelet, no money to go shopping with. Hmmmph! Guess I could go read a book but then I'd just fall asleep! DH and I might go check out a furniture liquidation later on. (Haydee & TracyK -- did ya'll hear Fingers is liquidating??) Maybe I'll just go take a nap..... zzzzzzzz
  18. Here are cost estimates: Lodging for 3 nights = $200 Lodging for 4 nights = $300 (assuming there are 6 of us) Car rental $50-60 each (3 full size cars) So do ya'll want me to get the house for Thurs night too?
  19. Congratulations Kat!!!!!!!!!! :cheers2::svengo::party: :cornut: :eek: :tongue: :Banane43::eek: :woot::woot::woot:
  20. yeah, the extra day would be Thursday night.
  21. Absolutely! I'll do my best!
  22. k ... that's 5 for an extra day
  23. I had reflux when my band was too tight. Went away after a slight unfill, no problems since.
  24. Amaltha- If I were you I'd do my best to get established with a local doc...even if they're 2 hrs away. It makes getting adjustments much easier and in case of any problems at least you have an American doctor to turn to. Yes, the first year you will have many adjustments...and maybe the second year, too. After that it will probably slow down a lot. As for going in once/month "just to have your parts checked"....that is really not feasible. There's not much they can check other than Fluid level without xrays and fluro.... y'know?
  25. Yeah, I did ask if anyone wanted to stay an extra day....but if there's only 3 of us (you, me and Kat?) then the house would cost us an extra $200 each! Maybe stay at a hotel in Huntsville? I dunno.... any ideas?
