at Jen 1381, no not really. but drinking something cold really helped. I think it was more of an infection from the cold...nothing helped, when i say nothing, i mean nothing....i had to tough it out. the antibiotics are working slowly, it is not as bad, but still bad...I had an ear ache to boot. thanks for the advice and all the comments...
Thanks everyone for our responses...My throat was so sore I thought it might have been strep..went to an urgent care center...it wasn't strep, they gave me some antibiotics and I will continue to spray and gurgle...thanks everyone for your feedback....
Has anyone experienced a sore throat after surgery. I am 4 days post op and my throat is extremely sore...I did have a cold going into surgery, but I did not have sore throat. Other than that, I feel fine. My incisions are healing nicely, minimal gas. Any thoughts?
I too am with Cigna...it is my understanding that whether you lose weight or not is irrevelant, because the weight and the BMI that they go by is what you weighed when you met with the surgeon. I have to wait the 6mos as well. I have scheduled my nutritionist appt and psy eval, it is my understanding that it will be covered, (for me) Be sure to double check with Cigna or have the doctor where you schedule to check to make sure it is applicable to you. It is a bummer about the six months, but I am trying to get my appointments and stuff started and maybe try to submit in 4 and see what happens. Good luck.
