  2. Told my boss today I would be out for 6 days to have my gallbladder removed. So excited, my pre-op appointment is on next wednesday, there I will find out if my pre-op diet is 2 or 4 weeks...OH please only 2 weeks.
  3. I am telling people at work that I am having Gall Bladder issues. then when it comes to surgery date I am going to say I am having my Gall Bladder removed.
  4. Wow, thank you so much for the reality on it!
  5. I got my aproval in the mail today. Surgery dat 11-11-11. So scared, nervous and excited.
  6. I also go to the lovelace west side in albuquerque and have lovelace. I was told I didnt have to lose 20 pounds. I have lost 10, done my 6 month diet, and am waiting on insurance aproval. They dr office told me they got a VERBAL agreement from Lovelace HP that we didnt have to loose 20 pounds...Oh man now I am worried.
  7. I get my band on November 11th of this year. I am so nervous. I am 264 lbs. and I know I dont look it. I had a lady today in the waiting room ask me if I had already had the surgery, I responded "no". She was very much heavier than me. She looked me up and down and that was the end of the conversation. Now I wonder if this is the right choice, 2 plus years of thinking this threw. Any positive thoughts for me?
  8. I am new here, this is my 1st post. I am on my way to getting the Lap Band, I have my 4th visit with the nutritionist in 2 weeks. I am having trouble with....Well ALL of it. Does this mean I wont be able to handle my band. I have got breakfast down, Lunches I have LOTS of trouble, What do I eat? Some advise please. And dinner, do I make myself something different or just eat a small version of what I made for the family? Last night I mad sloppy Joes for dinner. Well Should I have only eaten the meat...or...maybe just 1/2 bun and meat? PLEASE any ideas to help me drink more water during the day. I am so worried. I am scared to ask the nutritionist because I dont want her to say I am not ready. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
