  1. Hi Rachel, Part of my journey was dealing with the emotional aspects of why I overate. Here are several resources that may help you: Karen Koenig: Counselor and author on emotional eating: http://www.eatingnormal.com/ All her books are terrific. Lap Band Gal Blog: She is a success story with the lap band. I find her writing inspiring, honest and whole-hearted: http://lapbandgalsjourney.blogspot.com/ Come join us on Lap Band Divas Facebook group. Lots of help and success stories there. Best of luck to you, -Kim http://myquatto.blogspot.com/
  2. Hi Steve - Thanks for sharing your blog. I'll definitely check it out. Here's mine: http://myquatto.blogspot.com/ KJ Seattle, WA
  3. Thank you! Great blog, by the way. I love pink!
  4. I'm curious how many fills it too for you before you hit "the green zone"? It all feel like a little Three Bears right now (this band has too little, this band has too much, this band is just right). The restriction after my first fill didn't feel very restricted and lasted all of two weeks. I'll go back for my second fill tomorrow. Is there any concensus out there about how many fills (on average) it takes to get the restriction just right? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi Rebecca - I'm in Seattle but travel to Bremerton to see my surgeon (William Neal, M.D.). I was a private-pay patient and moved through the approval process very quickly. I had the band installed earlier this year and am trying to figure out how to use it successfully. It definitely feels like it's going to be a process all on its own.
