Congrats on your weight loss! It's great that you had it done so young- you will have a lifetime of reaping in the benefits of the sleeve. Definitely check out Egg Face's website- there are so many recipes and information. It is very helpful. I too craved tomato sauce afterwards- I couldn't wait to have it along with some meatballs. And that is what I did when I was on soft foods. I bought a lean cuisine meal and just ate the sauce and meatballs and threw away the Pasta. Now since you are into cooking- I'm sure you could whip something up that tastes much better. Good luck to you as you continue through this journey!

Welcome to VST- it's a great site with sooo much information and advice/stories from others. I love it! I found waiting for surgery very difficult. You want so badly to have it over and done with and start your new life. Good luck to you as you wait and with your surgery as well.

I agree with you- this site is wonderful! So many great stories and advice! I think we are all very lucky to be able to connect on here since so many people just don't get what we are going through.

Yay for you! I know what you mean- I don't need to shop at the stores either just in my own closet. I have so many sizes from my past ups and downs. At least we can save $$$ and have a big shopping spree when we hit goal!

When you go to the grocery store and only end up with a few items in your cart instead of it being packed full! When you go out with your girlfriends and you actually want to take pictures with your friends instead of hiding from the camera!

Congrats to you!! Thats's great that they caught your blood disorder through this! I had pancreatitis before I got my gallbladder out years ago and that was such horrible pain! I hope that gets better for you and good luck to you as you continue on!
