I had my surgery on 04/06/2011 and I am having alot of the same issues. ive lost 8.2 pounds in this first week but boy! this is the hardest thing I have ever attempted to do. my constant hiccups and stomach growling has been the worst part. but yesterday i tried waterdowned clam chowder (with permission) and made sure not to get any bits of the clam and felt so much relief. I have gone a week now without my diet dr pepper and thats a victory in itself. I am so looking forward to where this journey will take me. Good luck on yours
  3. your doing great! you may not see the difference but we can.. keep up the good work !~
  4. i HAD MY LAPBAND SURGERY ON APRIL 6,2011. MY QUESTION IS: DOES ANYONE HAVE PAINFUL HICCUPS AND CONTINUOUS STOMACH GROWLING. ANY HELP ON THESE TWO SUBJECTS ARE GREATLY NEEDED AND APPRECIATED! oTHERWISE i AM DOING GREAT AND HAVE ALREADY LOST 8.2 POUNDS SINCE LAST WEDNESDAY
  5. i had surgery on April 6th and was back at work on the 7th and in extreme pain. i ate so many gas x strips yesterday. but i had my first bm today and the pressure isnt as bad now. my biggest thing is that i am starving. my doctor doesnt fill until week 4 after surgery. any hints on what i can drink to feel better. i have been drinking boost and water and a little chicken broth.
