Fighting with this band

I'm a March bandster and I'm only down 23 lbs. I am a very slow loser. =(

OMG Girl! We are on the same boat. I was banded March 3, 2011 and down 20 lbs. I think for me is that I don't exercise. I am always so tired and without any energy at all. I just had my 3rd fill yesterday, I'm now at a total of 8.5cc's in an 11cc band. I have my next appt. in 2 months, my doctor said that this fill should help me kickstart my weight loss. Cross your fingers!!

I'm the same way. I was banded in March 2011 and down 20 lbs. I have had 2 fills, (which were pretty big) 1st fill 5cc's, 2nd fill- 2.5 cc's. Total of 7.5 in an 11cc band. I can eat anything but pork meat and I am always hungry. I go for my third fill this coming Monday. Don't know what to expect anymore.

I've ate pizza (I know I shouldn't have), for me it went down fine. The only thing I find hard to eat are pork chops, other than that I can eat anything.

Wow! That's pricey. My fills cost me $40.00 with my insurance.

Hello. I was banded on 3/3/11 and down 20 lbs. I am somewhat disappointed because I hear alot of bandsters that lose that in 1 month. I am struggling and I feel very over whelmed, at times I feel that it was pointless having my band put in. I know I have to do my part (exercise and eat healthy). The exercise part is what's difficult. I have no energy at all, no matter what time of the day it is. Is anyone going through the same problems as I am? Please let me know.

Who did your surgery?

When did you get banded? I got banded on 3/3/11 and with my last fill I feel the same way.

I didn't know they could over fill your band. My band is a realize 11cc's and I'm at 5cc's now I still have no restriction. I go in for my second fill tomorrow and I hope this one works for me.

I'm barely going in for my 2nd fill this Thursday, I am always STARVING!!! No matter what time of the day or night it is. I hope this fill helps me. I feel like a complete failure.

How long did it take you to lose all your weight?

I had the same problem. I clipped it with some nail clippers and I still felt a little stubble there and i just kept messing with it (like turning it back and forth) and eventually it just fell. My port incision would itch alot. I just kept putting lotion on it and finally went away.
