A little LOST! - Any tips
Everyone is different. I had almost no pain at all. After I went home - the 2nd day- I think I took liquid Lortab 2 times.. I had a little discomfort but not pain. I went back to work after 2 weeks. I could have gone back in a week. I was completely fine. You may be one of those without the pain or with some.. No one can tell you exactly how YOU will feel. Good luck. I am praying for you.

I still feel FAT
I have been reading all your posts and I am so inspired!! I need help!!!! I was sleeved on 8/9/2010. When I went for my 2-wk post op appt, I had lost 20 lbs since a month before.. (pre-op and post op). I don't feel any progress any more. I am afraid to weigh myself. My stomach feels big - I don't feel any change. I am full all the time. I am glad I have no pain or discomfort. My problem is that I am unable to eat anything.. If I eat anything I throw up.. I have trouble drinking.. I can't get in all my fluids.. I try to get at least 60 gm of protein in.. and by then I am so, so full.. is that why I am not losing, because I am not drinking? My pants still don't feel loose. I do look like I have lost weight in my face, though.. Pls tell me I will lose. Sometimes a thought crosses my mond that I will be the one that will not lose - but then again, that does not make sense given that I don't eat. I should lose. Or is my stomach still swollen from the surgery? one good thing though, I sleep so well... I tried to look for a buddy so I can get coached through the process but I was not successful. A few said they would help then disappeared on me. I even met one buddy but she never contacted me after our meeting. Would someone please like to help me? Thank you all... Excuse the tirade!!

4 days post-op..
Thanks for encouragement. Today was a better day.. I drank almost 50 gr of protein and 40 of water.. Yippee!!! I was really full earlier but not too bad now... I believe it will get better.. Went to my Dr.'s office and had drains removed.. I was not weighed.. Will do my first weighin on my 2week post op next Friday.. Good luck to you.. I hope you continue to add on the beverages..

65-70 lbs to lose
I think your weight loss is ok... but I am not a good judge since I have not been sleeved. I will start my preop diet tomorrow, 7/26. I get sleeved on 8/9. I will be sure to update how it is going. I would love to lose slowly. One thing I did not like about the gastric bypass is how quickly the weight came off.. of course including the malabsorption and the whole bypass issue.. That is why I chose the sleeve.. I would like to lose my 70 lbs in a year.. not in 6 months.. we'll see what happens.. Be encouraged and pls continue to update us.
