  2. HI boy I feel just like you I was banded on 12/7/2010 and I have also only lost 12 pounds. I have 2 cc in my band I have an appt 2/16/11 hopefully for another fill. It sounds like we are doing the same. My Dr says the same thing but I am frusrated I know it will come but right now I feel like i am just struglling everyday to eat less. I hear once you get to your sweet spot it gets easier. As of now I have a tiny bit of restriction but I don't feel that its the band stopping me yet it's me fighting the hunger. I am trying to be patient. I am happy I found you maybe we can help each other along the way.
  3. Harse or not I do not respond well to that............. I f I could control it I wouldn't have need surgery.............. If you get frusrated with newbies and you can't be nice keep it to yourself . ITS CALLED MANNERS
  4. I am so excited I found you Guys I was banded Dec 7, 2010 and I was hoping I could find a group that was banded around the same time. I am 5'2 and was 230 when I came home after the surgery of course I was swollen I was 223 the day of surgery. I have had one fill and I have an appt. Feb 16th and hopefully will be getting my second fill. I am down to 212. My Dr told me it was a slow process but man it is hard. I have no restriction yet. So I am really trying hard to keep my eating under control. I know I didn't gain it over night so I won't lose it over night but it's still hard. But I will keep plugging along. Good luck to you all....
  5. WOW I am new to lapband and couldn't wait to read and learn from this sight. BUT I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED. Someone ask a question and somebody calls them a loser. Are you kidding me. If we had will power we woudn't have needed the lapband in the first place. I am sick about this. I know myself and have lost weight and gained so many times. Thats why I did lapband for the help if it fails I am in trouble. I hope you found help from your DR. I had to stop reading the blogs because I was getting so angry. I thought this was suppose to be a sight to get support.. I am so sorry that someone would say such mean things to you.....
