  11. 10cc band with 8.3 doc's currently. As I don't want an unfill, I have been trying to push through without unfilling. Wrong! I have slowly progressed to slider foods. Not good! Also we have to really focus on not drinking while eating. I have a hard time with this. Off to the doctor for an unfilled of 1/2 CC.
  12. Hi everyone, Sorry as I haven't posted in quite some time. I had the band placed in January of 2011. Been through it all as ups and downs go. I'm doing well to date as I'm down 60-70 pounds. I have been at a stand still for nearly a month with no loss. After reading other posts I've realized I'm over filled. I have slowly adjusted to slider foods with a high calorie intake. Stupid me! Off to the doc I go for a unfilled of 1/2 CC. 10 CC band currently at 8.3 cc's.

  16. quote name='dddcampbell' timestamp='1295376229' post='1562861'] Can you please tell me how soon after surgery you started doing the treadmill sessions and how long each session is? Thanks, DC I started on the six day post-op. I just walked slowly for about 15 minutes. Today 12-13 days post-op I did 40 minutes on the treadmill at incline of 7.0 to 8.5 with my speed at 2.5-3.5 miles per hour. I burned up 345 calories. I like it, I love it, I want some-more of it! C.J.
  17. Thank you, Swan56 Keep up the great work girl, it's just a matter of time before you won't even recognize your own self. Life is like a box of chocolates, it makes you "FAT"!!!!!!! I have been using a small, small bowl to put my cottage cheese and mashed potatoes in. Big bowls are for mixing food in, not for eating a snack in. I'm just saying, you know what I'm saying! Love to all strugglers!!!!!! C.J.

I have a 7 and an 18 year old daughter, whom both have been my biggest supporters. I just want to say I love them both so very much! Today I was able to bend over and tie my shoes before going to the gym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can we say "YES"!!......( ; o)~......... God bless all strugglers!!!!!! C.J.
  21. Hello fellow strugglers, I love you all! I'm down 31 lbs post-op, after only 12 days. My body is changing everyday as people are really beginning to take notice. I have a great shirt that I have never been able to wear hanging in plain sight, looking forward to putting it on soon. I don't want to attempt trying it on to soon as It may not yet fit. That could really screw with my emotions to say the least, so I'll look at the shirt for now, but soon real soon. Your body is just a shell, shells can be broken! Life-band has saved my life, my life is worth saving! Love to all, C.J.

I was banded on friday January 7th, 2011 in a small town in Central California. I'm 41-years old married with a wonderful wife and two daughters, whom I love more than life itself. Yet afraid and unsure, I knew this life-band was my very last hope. My current stats to-date are putting hopeful thoughts back into my life, I'm actually starting to smile once again. Pre-op 282lbs 11 days post-op 251lbs down 30lbs. These first 11 days have been interesting to say the least. One interesting fact that I wasn't prepared for was the continuing shoulder pain I experience after doing my daily treadmill workout. I'm aware of the pain related to the Anastasia relating to the surgery that can last a couple of days. This is different, it's painful and I really hope it's not something that hangs around for to long. Honestly, if I had to live with this pain in order to continue using the band, no question! absolutely I would! My appetite has diminished beyond my expectations, and for that I'm grateful. I'm already introducing tiny pieces of white chicken as I feel my body really needs the nutrients. Religiously I'm consuming 3-4 large protein drinks throughout the day. I have also started two sessions of treadmill per day, burning roughly 300-400 calories per session. I feel like nothing can stop me now! I'm ready for this life changing experience. It's time to hold on really tight. God bless all strugglers! I love you all! C.J. P.S. Looking forward to loving mirrors again, soon real soon!
