Well about a week and a half ago I went to the Dr and weighed 389 so he told me he wanted to loose at least another 10 lbs before my surgery tomorrow. Needless to say I almost gave the man a heart attack and weighed in today at 371 :biggrin1: . He was in shock that I lost 18 pounds so fast. I guess wish me luck ! Tomorrow is a go for me and I enter band land officially. I am all kinds of emotional. Excited as hell but yet scared at the same time. I guess that is normal. Isn't it? Going out for the last super tonight. Fajitas baby ! LOL :hungry:

Dr. Washington at Centre State Hospital in Freehold. I can't wait I am getting a little nervous. Its supposed to be on the 9th. He may postpone it 2 weeks if I can't loose another 10 lbs by then :faint:. I should be good though.

I get mine in less then 2 weeks and I have told everybody and there mother. I figure now I have no choice but to bust my but and make it work.

a simple way is to open the picture in your "Paint" program that comes with windows. Then on top click on "Image" then go to "stretch/skew" you will then see a little pop up menu. In the stretch part of the menu you will see horizontal and vertical with 100% next to them . just change them to a smaller % and click ok. Once you do that see if picture is small enough and if it is click on file and save. :gluck:

I know how you feel. I just received my date today (5/09) and told my family. They are all supportive of me getting it, but with strings attached of course. I get the digs once in awhile also. Example is tonight my father made the comment " I hope this surgery puts a little scare into yah" I was thinking to myself wtf is that supposed to mean? You think I am not scared and thats why I am getting this surgery because I don't want to die young. What I have done is come to the conclusion is that people are just ignorant and think they know everything. They don't though. So I just except that fact and figure I will just defeat them by succeeding with this ind ever. They do love you but are stubborn and scared themselves so this is how they express it.

Have u lost over 40 lbs since 2/27 ?

Not sure about your question but it seems we just had the same virus. I spent the other night vomiting every hour or so myself and then this morning my fiance has the same problem:sick. I was actauly thinking the same thing you are though. When I get banded can something like this affect it?

Just wanted to stop in and update. First off congrats on all the losses so far everyone ! So I have everything completed except some nutritional classes my DR makes you take. I am completing them on the 15th and then I should be getting my date, I cant wait ! Initial visit - done pulminary clearance - done cardiac clearance - done DR neccesity - done Syco clearance - done sleep test - done classes - 15th (new date) Dr says I should get my surgery within the month :clap2:

Updated pulmonary consult = Completed today ! Classes = Scheduled / start this Saturday with 3 ! Man I cant wait so I can get my surgery date ! :clap2: ousooner your looking great bro !!! an inspiration to us all !

All I have to say is DAMN THE MAN ! The Dept of Justice updated the firewalls at work and now I can't access the forums from there anymore !!:faint: 8 hours a day and no access to the forums !!!

OK got the ball rolling on some of my progress ! My Dr needs all this before he puts it into the insurance co... Letter of neccesity from my M.D. = Done Today Psych Eval = 3/1/07 pulminary consult = need to get appt still Sleep study = Done Got Results Today ( Soon to be Hose Head ) Cardiac Clearance = 2/28/07 Attend all dumb HAC sessions 5 total = calling tommorow So the ball is now rolling and I cant wait till I get it done Chris
