I usually wait around an hour. Its usually longer because I don't think about it. I think the whole idea of waiting longer also has to do with self control. If you wait longer the odds are you will feel full longer. If you can control your urges to eat then drink sooner. (This is just my opinion so take it as that)

Being sick this last week slowed me down a bit. :sick

don't have to. Half my family lives there and my father used to. they seem to like our system better. biggest complaint they have is having to wait months for surgery's. I am not stating our system is perfect in no way but works pretty good imo. I am unemployed at the moment due to a lay off and I pay 335$ a month for my insurance and will say it is worth every penny for the quality of care I get. I never had to wait for anything.

According to my GF its all on how you use it .. *Pulls his mind out of the gutter* _________________________________________________________________ I believe the only difference is the size of the band and how much fill it can take. The larger the band the longer it may to get a tighter restriction. It seems Docs are using the larger bands more often these days.

You answered your own question. STOP THE JUNK FOOD. Use a little self control. Remember the band is a tool and can not do all the work for you. Have you totaled how many calories you are intaking a day ? Are you exercising at all ? You can do it again ! Just stop the madness lol.:biggrin1:

I have a feeling she meant no harm by what she said. Since she has pretty much been where you are now she knows how you emotionally feel. I agree it may of affected you differently then she intended, but I wouldn't take it to much to heart. Smile you have lost a lot of weight ! :clap2:

People from other countries also need to realize that in the US gun laws vary by state. In your more populous states the laws are usually tougher. I am happy to say I just moved to Florida and out of that anti-gun state of NJ. I will also recommend anyone against the right to bear arms to go work in a prison for a bit and meet the true scum of the earth. Then realize how much you appreciate having the right to own one. If someone wants to kill you they will do it with or with out a gun. I just like my chances better when I may have the upper hand with my gun.
